my second time-I love staying here- it has everything one needs and is so clean and comfortable for either a short or long stay. the location is perfect for me, as i visit people in Freeport and Butler. I also like how easy it is to check in and out. Barb is a wonderful, thoughtful hostess.

This farmhouse was welcoming from the front porch to the cookies awaiting on the table. Everything we needed was there. Late nights on the porch, early mornings by the pond and everything in between was fabulous. Would definitely stay here again.

It is a very cute farmhouse. The neighborhood is quiet, unless there is a big race at the speedway (which was rare). The area is very scenic. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for several months while awaiting home completion. It was perfect! This charming cottage is a gem, and Barb and Glenn are fantastic hosts. Easy access to shopping and other amenities (farmers markets), yet quiet and peaceful. The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen, and the hemlock floors are beautiful. High speed internet provides business and streaming connectivity. The Butler-Freeport rail trail is just around the corner for biking or easy walking / running. If you are visiting the Pittsburgh area for a week or a month, consider a stay at the Cozy Farmhouse - we loved it!

Thanks to Barb for a very comfortable and charming farmhouse! We felt right at home in this lovely and quiet location. The kitchen was well-equipped to cook meals and we enjoyed exploring the local farm markets. The front porch was great for relaxing and enjoying the greenery and trees all around. We took advantage of the Butler Freeport community trails that were very close by for wonderful autumn walks. Barb is a great hostess and so responsive! Highly recommend this special place. A perfect rental with all the amenities, very spacious and well furnished . The place was spotless, the neighborhood quiet and I would absolutely stay there again.
