「Sometimes you get a pleasant surprise when you check into a hotel in a place that is new to you. This little hotel was fantastic! We had a nice stay and dinner at the restaurant across the street. But this place is so close to the horse track, you can watch the horses work out. 」
「Hidden gem. I have stayed in worse in higher class hotels. It was quiet, clean, cool, and super comfortable beds. My small complaint was the provided bathroom items (soap, shampoo, and conditioner), were empty (just conditioner). Great parking, safe rooms, and super quiet. Do not judge this motel by the outside (which is also very cute), it was an awesome stay. Easy check in and check out. Just far enough away from town to be quiet but close enough to take a quick ride to everything. Awesome...
「They do not have enough staff to clean rooms and we waited until after 5:15 for our room and then the poor Mai’s were so overwhelmed that we did not have them clean our room for the four night stay」
「I really enjoyed the scenic views that the property had to offer (check the listing so you can select a room with a view if this is important to you). I enjoyed dinner downstairs in the tavern while sitting on the back porch. Watched the sun set while enjoying dinner and a drink. I appreciated the contactless entry and checkout and the little shared kitchen for morning coffee.」
「We stayed in a tiny houss that was well equipped. Upon checking in we met Henry who works on the property. He was great, helped us get settled and answered all our questions. The site is on the Hudson and has nice views. The onsite restaurant was great too! Shout out to Rachel behind the bar and Matt our waiter.」
