Very Nice Lido Key Beach Cottage

The Pelican Gardens cottage was very nice. The inside was newly renovated, clean and roomy. It was a short walk to beautiful Lido Key Beach and to get to town. A great relaxing vacation.

Lido Beach Studio

Close to so much we were interested in doing. Pretty good studio room. Only complaint would be the bathroom floor. There was water damage prior to our stay and the tiles were squishy and water would come up through the seams. Would have liked to have a hot plate there.

Perfect for short stay

This little place was absolutely perfect for a last minute short trip. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes. The studio was clean and well appointed for our relaxing, beach obsessed trip. We literally booked it the morning we checked in. The host was easy to communicate with and attentive. The morning after we arrived, we went to get the beach supplies from the locked bin, and realized one of the chairs was broken. I reached out to inform them, and when we came back from the beach, a brand new chair was there!

Cute but tiny

Cute/well decorated place to stay near Lido beach/St Armand’s circle - for one person or two if you don’t have much luggage as it’s tiny. FYI, no closet to hang clothes and unit does not have a lot of convenient outlets for devices. There is also an issue with moisture coming from floor in bathroom which appears to have been happening for awhile given stains on baseboard. However, it suited our needs well enough for the week.

Problems

The rental had problems from day one: loud bathroom door squeak (remedy, rehang the door properly), no internet for 1.5 days (improper maintenance of cable, resulting in a cut line), wet bathroom floor (leak most likely in the shower pan, resulting in mold developing on the walls by day 12), the building on the grounds showed wear and tear.

Cozy and Bright

First, the location cannot be beat!! We were able to walk everywhere and absolutely loved the area!! The unit itself was cozy, bright and had just about everything we needed! We loved it here!! I did reach out about the low battery on the front door and extra pillows and found communication to be easy and quick— much appreciated!! I also enjoyed not having to worry about a key for the door— a keypad code made it much easier! Bed/bedding was comfortable, shower pressure was nice and water was hot!

Short getaway

I came here to get some R&R and also to visit extended family in Bradenton. I had such a lovely time. The room had everything I could have possibly needed. Plenty of towels and dishes. So beautifully decorated, too!! Also, the location was perfect. Close to everything but also off the main drag and quiet in the morning and evening. It was perfect for me!!!
