Clean and comfortable

My small family and I stayed for 4 nights. The house was clean and comfortable, well stocked and there was plenty of room for our larger family BBQ. The pool was the highlight, we loved lounging in it at night protected from the bugs. I have a couple of suggestions for the host; repair the pool light, clean the grill and checkin with guests about their stay. A small amount of attention would have been appreciated. Other than those small issues it was a good stay.

Dirty pool

Not clean. Pool was very dirty and we never saw a pool person come by to clean it. Also no railing in the pool to help get out therefore my husband fell. Ants all over the kitchen. No place to put your shampoo and soap in the shower. No shelf, no rack. I have rented better.

Great Home & Location

Our stay was wonderful for our family of 6. The home was clean and comfortable. Communication was clear. The location was perfect for anywhere we wanted to go. The neighborhood was quiet and pool was wonderful to use. We would choose this home again.

Perfect escape

Enjoyable quiet neighborhood on a dead end road. Perfect place to relax after a week at Disney parks. The private pool was the best amenity. No laundry soap provided so bring own. Great place

Weekend Getaway

We came to Sarasota to visit our favorite beach Siesta Key. The home was perfect for our family to spread out and enjoy the pool in the evenings when we returned to the beach.

Great spot for a family

The house was very clean and had everything that we needed. It was also a great location being close to a grocery store and also a short drive to Siesta Key and the beach! My only complaint was the pool area was not the cleanest and wasn't taken care of that well. But we didn't use the pool much so it wasn't a big issue. Otherwise the place was wonderful!

Great home!

This house was perfect for our family. It was close enough to Siesta Key Beach that we could load up in the morning and spend the day at the beach. The beach has plenty of bathrooms and a concession stand with food and drinks and ice. There was plenty of beach chairs and sand toys and a cooler which made it nice to not have to worry about packing our own. We were sure to add to the beach toys and pool floaties since the floaties left would not hold air. The pool was great for the early mornings for the kids or when we wanted to relax at the house. The kitchen was stocked pretty well and the beds were comfortable with plenty of towels provided. The only negatives were we could not figure out the pool lights for night swimming. We werent sure if the lights were blown or what but there were little buttons all around the pool but we could not figure them out. There were only a few minor reasons I gave the cleanliness a 4. The coffee pot had grounds in it but I was able to wash it before I used it. It was great having a washer and dryer but the washer had a slight smell to it so it may just need cleaned. The pool couldve used a good vacuum and the landscaping was a little rough. I actually injured my ankle taking out the trash one day because the palm leaves are hanging in the way of the trash cans and the ground is all broken up and uneven right by them. All in all it was a great place and we would definitely recommend.

Perfect vacation

We enoyed staying at this house. The property was clean, comfortable and well stocked for our stay. Even with spring break traffic, Siesta Key beach was only a 15 minute drive. My only (very small) complaint, is that the patio around the pool is not large enough for reclining beach chairs to soak up the Florida sun. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Nice house and good location

A nice house and a very attentive house manager, we had a few hiccups initially but they were taken care of fast and efficiently. Overall a pleasant experience for my wife and I but the house could use an upgrade or two for the price of the rental. We would return again since the location is wonderful and the house is sound.

Beautiful Property!!!

The property was beautiful and well maintained! The house was stocked with everything you could or would need. The beach was a short drive away and the house included everything from towels to chairs and toys for the kids. We had an amazing time and would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Awesome family trip!

We rented this home for our family trip. It was perfect. The home was cozy and we had absolutely no issues while there! The kids were able to enjoy the pool and everything was very close to us. The beach was only 10 minutes away and grocery shopping was easy to get to. We would definitely stay here again if we ever have the chance.

Nice place

Lovely Stay

This was our first stay at VRBO listing. The neighborhood was very quiet with little traffic which was great to walk our dogs. Home appears as shown on listing. The property manager was very prompt in answering our messages. We had a very nice stay in Gulf Gates! Very convenient location!

Perfectly home in great location

This home was perfect for my husband and I for our two-month stay. Exactly as shown and the fenced in yard was great for our two dogs. Close to great restaurants, Siesta key beach and multiple state parks. Downtown Sarasota is only 20 minutes to shops and great dining 2 guest rooms were handy for when our family visited on one weekend The dishwasher and bbq grill worked but could use updating. Heated pool great and host was very responsive to questions where needed. Beach chairs and umbrella were also provided for our convenience Would definitely rent this home again! .
