We stayed at this property with 2 adults, 1 teenager, and 1 senior dog. The property is clean and convenient. Everything is as described. The lake behind the main house was fun for water-related activities. There’s a boat and canoe that you can use. There are a lot of activities around Saranac and Lake Placid as well. Overall, this was a good stay.

Beautiful Loft and close to everything

The loft is an awesome place to stay right by the lake. Very clean, easy check-in/out, and great amenities. We were a short drive away to everything Lake Placid & the area has to offer. 100% would stay here again

We loved our stay at the loft, it was clean, spacious and the washer/dryer was a welcome perk. The location is great, with easy access to the lake and a canoe. The host were just the right amount of attentive and had a wealth of information on local activities, fishing guides, and restaurants. We would recommend this spot to anyone looking to get a way and recharge.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

I was looking for a quiet mountain vacation and that’s exactly what I got. My dog and I enjoyed swimming and hiking in the area, and it was only a short drive to Lake Placid for a more “touristy” area.

Perfect retreat in the woods

The space is perfect for what we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and full of nature, including families of dear. We were a short ride to lake placid and Saranac lake so location was great. It was a great stay.

Cozy loft

Beautiful scenery with access to lake and amenities (canoes, kayaks ect). Definitely recommend for small family or a couple and it’s pet friendly! I

Great spot!

Communicative hosts, great privacy, well-appointed apartment, and a cozy place to unplug! We were close to a lot of great food, hiking, and fun attractions. Strolled downtown Lake Placid & Saranac Lake, hiked Balanced Rocks, & checked out the “Cliffside Coaster.” The Pendragon Theater is so quaint! The place was perfect and we were so glad to be able to bring our dog along.

Perfect stay for our weekend of hiking

My spouse and I stayed at the loft over Memorial Day weekend and it was a perfect fit for us. We hiked 6 high peaks in 3 days and my sister-in-law joined us for 2 of them. The loft was clean and quiet and we loved the trail to the swimming area. Whitney is a great host and pro-active with communication. Highly recommend!

A great place to stay when visiting the Adirondacks! It's centrally located, so it's perfect for day trips. It's quiet and on the lake. Hearing the loons call in the middle of the night was an experience, as we didn't know what animal that sound was coming from! The loft was more than enough for my lovely wife and I. It was clean and has everything you'll need for your stay. There is a washer and dryer, a well-stocked kitchen with dishes, glasses, and all manner of cookware. The bathroom is full size with lots of towels. The baseboard heat worked fine for the chilly June mornings. I don't know if there is AC, as the ceiling fans and open windows kept the place the perfect temperture. The couch, which turns into a sleeper bed, is ok. Not the most comfortable, but not the worst. We're used to recliners, so that feature was missed. There's just the two-cushion couch and a couple of chairs for the table. We made it work, though. If there's more than two people who want to sit down and relax, that may be an issue. Or not! The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was ample with extra comforters if needed. There's a lot of closet space, but bring your own hangers. There aren't any to hang up your clothes. Additionally, you'll be living out of your suitcase, as there are no dresser drawers. The owners were great to work with. They live on property in the main house, and were friendly and pretty much left us alone. Overall, a high-quality place to stay and highly recommended!
