Staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is in a great location. Right on a lake, which is common in this area, and close to the heart of the town. Our suite had a great picture window that looked right over the little lake out back, very Stephen King.

Good old fashion hotel. Thanks for the free upgrade with kitchen for long stay. Service was great very simple place in a centered location for Adirondack region

It was a great stay. There was a noise issue when a bus full of girl athletes arrived after 10 PM. But this got much quieter by 11. Using the Roku tv was a bit of a challenge as there are many channels not available, and the access code for adding your own streaming apps would have been a plus. Between the outside lights and the Christmas lights, it was extremely bright in the room. Overall a good stay.

Convenient and cheaper alternative to Lake Placid. The 2-bedroom suite (Room 18) worked great for 2 fathers/sons. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet, especially being on the non-road side of the building. Great shower! Would stay there again.

winter escape

Nice clean basic hotel in a great location. Check in and out was very convenient and the team there was very responsive and communication was great. The room was clean and well maintained and despite heavy snow that week the parking lot was well maintained and access to the rooms was clear and safe at all times.

Fantastic old school motel updated with modern conveniences. Everything was clean, sheets were fresh and the log cabin furniture fit the vibe. Self check-in was easy and hassle free. Only negative about the stay was the lack of hot water but it was far outweighed by the rest of the experience.
