"Hotel Camburi Praia is a very basic hotel in a small, country village 2hrs south-west of Sao Paulo along the coast. I stayed there for a work engagement. Camburi village is a typical of the area; rustic, weather-beaten, but welcoming enough. You should have some basic knowledge of portuguese though to get by. Hotel Camburi Praia is just off the main street running through the village and about 150m from the beach. It's a very basic hotel (my room 34 was a bit dated, but comfortable enough)....

"O hotel é aconchegante, no geral limpo, áreas em comum, quarto limpo, banheiro com lodo nos azulejos, não só no rejunte. Sauna boa, mas também com lodo nos azulejos, jacuzzi tonha que esperar 30 minutos pra aquecer mas não aqueceu, tem que ficar apertando um botão pra sair o jato mais forte. Água estava limpa mas depou que ligou começou a aparecer cabelos por toda a jacuzzi. "We are passing through Sao Sebastiao and stayed for two nights there. Right next to bus station. 16 minutes walk to ferry to cross over to ilhabela. 10 minutes walk to the promenade, with lot of bars and Resturants. Good breakfast and free coffee and tea and snacks all day. Staffs and the woner are very friendly and accommodating. Perfect stay for us."
