「DeSolina was a charming fun little cottage in a winery. I suggest arriving before sunset because it does awfully dark and finding parking and front door was a challenge. Thankfully Dean was on hand to help us . Otherwise it was a great stay. 「This property was exactly what we were looking for. Peaceful, private, and surrounded by open space, it really felt like our own little retreat. Even though it’s tucked away and quiet, it was only a short drive to downtown Santa Ynez, wineries, and great places to eat.The house was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. 「The promise of farm animals was the major attraction for us when we chose to stay at The Farmhouse. And we can’t overpraise how fun and interesting our stay turned out to be. Owners Kris and Francisco care for chickens, geese, a Tom Turkey, ponies, goats, and even a 140 lb tortoise, many of them rescues. 「We had such a lovely time and we absolutely adored the Magnolia Cottage! It was located perfectly in the midst of Solvang and we were able to walk to everything in the town. The house was clean and very well kept. My only critique is that there weren't many utensils or tools for cooking which made it difficult to make meals in the house. Other than that, we had such an awesome stay and would absolutely recommend staying here!!」
