Perfect location!

Robin is the Best! She was genuinely concerned with my comfort and needs the property is beautiful located in a very private neighborhood of Santa Cruz easy access to everything Santa Cruz has to offer, and a wonderful, quiet, comfortable, nurturing place to come home to after a long day of adventure, and exploring I really look forward to coming back. Thanks Robin for making my stay so lovely.

Wonderful Santa Cruz Getaway

We spent a month at West Cliff Hideaway. The location is fantastic - 2 blocks from the ocean in a lovely neighborhood. We were able to walk to the Pier and Boardwalk from our front door every day. Seeing the waves and surfers never grew old. The host, Robin lives in the main house and was always available for anything we needed. We rarely saw her so we always felt like we had privacy. The apartment is above a large garage behind the house and is accessed by a private entrance and a flight of stairs. Very comfortable and a fully stocked kitchen made for a perfect stay. Thank you Robin for sharing your home in such a beautiful location!

Comfy & perfect for visiting UCSC

This experience reminded me of how good a well-run vacation rental can be. It was so nice dealing with an actual person who takes excellent care of their place with lots of thoughtful touches to make my stay super comfortable and relaxing. The place is luxurious for a single/couple, and the futon in the living room was very solid and comfortable. Robin's place is like staying in a real house, with a patio and grill, located in one of the nicer areas in Santa Cruz. Walking distance (15-20 minutes) from lots of stuff and a quick drive from UCSC. Plenty of peace and quiet even with the windows open constantly.

Beyond 5-star Stay & Host

We loved our stay at Robin’s cottage and she was an outstanding and wonderful host. Her place is lovely, quiet, clean, had everything we needed and is perfectly located for daily walks along the ocean and to amazing restaurants and cafes. We didn’t want to leave! And Robin is an exceptional host. (Like she should teach a course on it.) She is warm, welcoming, accommodating and literally made us feel like her special guests (not just vrbo people staying on her property). She checked in to be sure we had what we needed, sent us weather updates, and gave us a heads up on a stunning full moon over the ocean and recommendations for where to view it with great food and drink. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return. Thank you Robin! 🌴

Great place for business and pleasure!

Our family of three had a great stay at West Cliff Hideaway! Just the right size - comfortable, nicely appointed and close to West Cliff Drive and all of the sites of Santa Cruz. Bonus was getting to know the terrific owners! We highly recommend this rental.

Relaxing Getaway

This is a beautiful location that is a perfect setup as a home away from home. The location is amazing and very close to so many beautiful walks and time to unwind and relax near the water. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and having a full kitchen at our use. Great place for a small family to visit and we would definitely return to this location!

Very nice!

I highly recommend Robin's West Cliff Hideaway! This place is perfectly located for surfing and checking out SC. It has everything you need in a nice neighborhood and it is clean and quiet. We would stay here again.

My sister and I had a wonderful Labor Day weekend at West Cliff Hideaway. The place was really nice and so quiet. The owner had everything ready for us. We were within walking distance to the beach and all the wonderful places to eat. We would definitely stay at West Cliff Hideaway again!!

Very nice time!

I had a great time staying at West Cliff Hideaway. The unit was clean and well-maintained, easy walking distance to the ocean. Parking was easy and there was a New Leaf (kind of a local Whole Foods) nearby where there were lots of good grocery options. It's a great launching station for adventures around the coast.

Loved this place!

If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, peaceful, well equipped, well organized apartment close to the ocean, good restaurants and shopping in the quiet part of Santa Cruz, look no further - you have found it. Our family of four, including two young adult children, was very happy with Robin's "hideaway" during our recent four night stay. Highly recommended!!

Awesome family getaway

We had a great time in Santa Cruz thanks to Robin and Bill's hospitality and clean and comfortable place. It is close to the beach in a lovely neighborhood. It's small but fully loaded with everything you need as a couple or small family. My family and I enjoyed walking to the beach and the boardwalk is a short drive away. We hope to come back and enjoy it again in the future.

Great getaway

What a wonderful accommodation. It is very cozy and welcoming. Everything that you need for cooking or going to the beach is there. I love having the barbecue to grill our steaks. There were lots of bath towels too! Just a wonderful place.

Fantastic Host, Property and Location

Great Location and Host

This property was very comfortable and exactly as advertised. Robin was very helpful and accommodating. The location is superb. You can hear the crashing of the waves and the barking of the seals from the ocean a few blocked away. We walked and biked everywhere and found the Westside wineries and coffee shops great.

Wonderful Stay!

Spent the Labor Day weekend at West Cliff Hideaway for my girlfriend's birthday. Robin was quick to respond and set us up with the rental. The rental was very cozy and clean. We had absolutely no issues. I highly recommend.

West Cliff Hideaway

Great vacation rental! West Cliff Hideaway is an excellent place to stay for a week. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, yet just a couple blocks from the ocean and West Cliff Drive. Many restaurants and winery tasting rooms are close by. The apartment is charming with all the little extras that make such a difference. I'd certainly recommend it highly.

Close to everything and entirely accommodating.

Our family came here on our spring break to enjoy sunshine and the outdoors. It was the perfect place because of its proximity to the ocean, Wilder Ranch, Natural Bridges State Beach, UCSC arboretum, and Seymour Marine Discovery Center. We even spent a day at the Monterrey Aquarium. The accommodations were also amazing. Clean, comfortable and filled with everything we needed. A home away from home for our small family of 3.

Every detail possible covered!!!
