When we checked in we weren’t sure we were going to be able to check in early (something that I requested & paid an extra $20 for). When we got there it was 2pm on a Saturday afternoon, a woman by the name of Alondra was at the front desk. She was very respectful & pleasant. She let me know that there were no rooms available at the time. She told me that we were welcome to unload our luggage & sit in the lobby, park our vehicle in the garage (she gave us a permit, then noticed that I requested ADA parking, & told me that she wasn’t sure what the parking situation was but that we could park on the metered parking around the hotel for free because the hotel charged $20 to park) & relax at the libby. We asked if our 2 grandchildren (4 & 5 yrs old) could use the pool. She was more than accommodating! She gave my son a temp key & told him that they were more than welcome to enjoy the pool!! My husband & I in the meantime unloaded, he parked our vehicle & we relaxed watching tv in the lobby. Not more than 15 minutes went by & Allondra notified us that our room was ready. After relaxing in our room, we decided to walk to the beach & leave our vehicle parked in its ADA spot (it was the last one by the elevator before the EV vehicle parking spot. When we got back, we wanted to load everything we used at the beach back into our vehicle. By this time there was another SUV PARKED next to us on the passenger side. That spot was a no parking spot.
