I climbed to the top in the middle of the day, in June. It was hot and there weren't many people around. At one point a door slammed behind me and I turned around. A man was bounding up the stairs behind me. He looked up and saw me looking at him - he stopped, turned around and went back down and inside the door. I believe he would have snatched my bag. Be careful. I would not go again by myself. (I am 60+ years old and female.) That said, it was a wonderful climb with great views. The top was worth the effort. I would go again - just not by myself.
