"Really thought that by it being called resort there would be a restaurant but found out it was closed months ago. We booked here for the convenience of a restaurant, very basic but clean motel. No extra amenities to call it a resort I’m afraid. It’s just some rooms attached to a motor camp."

"Enjoyed our three night stay. Room spacious. We often stay here. Only gripe was their coffee machine in the restaurant. A jug of milk lay beside it and connected to the coffee machine by tube which I had never seen before. I had to call help, as the machine screen didn't display "hot water." Others obviously were having problems, as I noticed three people waiting to get coffee/tea followed soon after by four waiting."

"The Hermitage is beautifully located in the heart of Geraldton, and with so much history behind it, we felt very fortunate to have the opportunity to stay there. Although it was never intended to offer the same level of luxury as a hotel, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We visited in winter, so the oil heaters were much appreciated. We especially enjoyed spending time on the porch in the afternoon sun, as well as relaxing in the cosy reading nook by the window."
