"The rustic foxhole didn’t disappoint! The amazing sunrises and sunsets over Lake Superior were absolutely amazing. The evening sky was peppered with stars as we sat by the fire pit in the evening after exploring the town of Marquette and Big Bay. I would highly recommend staying at the “Rustic” Foxhole!"

"This is a very nice new hotel which included a free washing machine and dryer within a common area of each floor. All staff members were extremely friendly, helpful and pleasant. The breakfast buffet was great. It had fresh sliced homemade breads and cinnamon rolls."

"Our suite truly was a suite. There's a complete kitchen with cooktop,, pots and pans, utensils, and dishwasher. The comfortable bed has a night stand and reading light on both sides, plus down pillows All the expected amenities are there - microwave, large fridge, coffee, etc., . Square footage was outstanding. Even the usually dreary self-serve breakfast was a step above the norm. There is a comfortable common area for a small group, just off the main lobby, with a huge screen TV, books, and board games. Earlier on this 3-week trip we had stayed at a place half as good and twice as expensive. This was the best value I've seen in a hotel - well - ever!"

"This place was one of my favorites on the trip. The room was beautiful and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel had snacks and an evening get-together on the patio. You could walk to dinner and take a bike ride in the morning. Liz, the concierge, was so sweet and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it."
