"Hotel Excelsior is all about the location. It’s right in the centre of La Maddalena, with an amazing waterfront position where you can sit and watch the ferries come and go. I booked a sea view room, which was definitely worth it and easily the highlight of the stay. The rooms are on the small side but were clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning was excellent, which made a big difference during the warmer weather.
