"We arrived quite late, but the staff were friendly, responsive, and very helpful with the self-check-in process. Their support made our arrival easy and stress-free. The room was charming, clean, and well cared for. We also really enjoyed the location and the atmosphere of this little town. Having a café just downstairs for breakfast was a nice bonus. We had a great stay and would be happy to return."

"The address of the hotel was wrong on the Hotels.com web site. After an anxious hour or so our host was kind enough to come and get us, we were on foot walking the Via Francigena and the additional 4 miles back would have been a killer. Our host arranged for a cab the next morning so we were back on schedule. Worth the cab expense to keep on schedule. Wonderful evening meal and a great hotel. I would visit it again."

"We absolutely loved our stay at La Sovana! The grounds are impeccably manicured and maintained! The pool was lovely after a long day of sight seeing and we had an incredible time enjoying the dinner one evening. The stay were incredible throughout our stay and so helpful and kind. The owner was on site quite a bit and I think that added to the charm. He introduced himself at the dinner and danced with some guests. It gave it a beautiful family run feel and you could tell he took a lot of pride in his hotel. My husband and I loved the complimentary breakfast buffet. It gave us a great start to the our day of sight seeing in the area. Would return in a heartbeat!"
