I rented the home for one night, arrived around 9 PM and unfortunately woke up with a cockroach crawling on me. While the house looked clean, there was an infestation of roaches. The conditions were unacceptable, and I felt so uncomfortable that I had no choice but to pack my things and leave in the middle of the night, alone. I immediately contacted the host and provided photos of what I experienced, expecting at the very least that my situation would be taken seriously. Instead, my request for a refund was refused. The host tried to blame previous renters but it’s obvious they have an ongoing roach issue. I barely stayed at the property before having to leave because of the conditions. 3-4 hrs max. Waking up with a cockroach on me is not something anyone should have to experience, especially after paying for a place to stay. I would not recommend this property and would strongly encourage future guests to be aware of this experience before booking.
