We were not told that there will be no cards to the room and that we would have to use our phone, which required downloading of their person App. The room had mold smell, which was not safe for our health. It took 2 hours to resolve and we were given a room (after told that there are no rooms) that was sub-par by far and had insufficient air conditioning (slept in 29 C, completely sweating all night). Overall, this is the worst hotel experience I have ever had.

the first thing that stuck us was how out of town this type of accommodation is. That applies to all Masseria hotels. The rooms are situated around a pretty courtyard. The rooms are basic and of reasonable size. There are no facilities for making tea/coffee. However, there is a fridge. A small sitting area is outside each room. There is no bar here and the restaurant does not open till 8 pm. the reception can provide wine or coffee. We bought our own beer and kept in in fridge in room. The staff in the restaurant were not great on understanding or speaking English. There is a huge pool, but everyone is required to wear a swimming hat. We did not go in:(

Excellent hotel. Except the restaurant at dinner, the manager ...well we didn't have dinner. But the hotel is beautiful and the rest of the staff, specially all the ladies at reception were wonderful attentive hosts.
Location is perfect with the sea right in front of you and you can walk to downtown.
