clean no smell

We had an unpleasant experience checking in, I booked a pet friendly room at Long Beach Garden Hotel and Spa. When we arrived at Long Beach Garden Hotel and Spa, the bell man immediately ran to my grab driver and told her it’s the wrong location. She then drove us to Long Beach Pavilion a block away, apparently it’s the same company but dog friendly. It’s not what I booked, wished they would separate the pictures so people know what they booked. Luckly I was only there for 2 nights.

The reception staff was excellent. I'll definitely be using your services again. People who are not gym menbers or hotel guests are using the gym. They come in when entranceis left open or when someone else opens the door.

I was underwhelmed with my stay. My assured vip treatment included a surprise and unexpected request for 1000Thb deposit. Upon my arrival. Which would be supposedly refunded upon checkout. I was unaware and unprepared for this additional expense. Since I did not have this. The hotel deemed me no longer able to receive the breakfast that is not automatically given. Therefore this was a paid for addition in advance that was now being revoked by the hotel. My balcony doors did not open upon my arrival. Which required an engineer to fix them. The bathtub had a slow leak and the water dried out my skin. the overall condition of the bathroom upkeep was lacking. The caulking needed repair and or replacement. As well as there was serious signs of overall wear. I understand that with general use this occurs but for the cost of a single night stay. Disregarding the request for a deposit. Better upkeep of the rooms should be an obtainable option. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were too fluffy. I was not impressed by the greeting receptionist but the man who assisted me to my room was very friendly and helpful. I am not sure if I would recommend this place given the cost in comparison to other hotels in the area. It is a smaller hotel and the roof top pool was fairly maintained. If one is looking for smaller, and more private. You might consider this just be aware of additional costs and the reality behind the façade of the reception area.
