The Space:

Kaladakia, approximately 3 km away, is more secluded, with crystal-clear water and a sea cave popular with snorkellers. Votsalakia, or Kampos Beach, around 9 km by road, is one of the longest beaches on Samos, known for its mix of sand and fine pebbles, shallow calm waters, organised facilities, and welcoming tavernas. Ormos Marathokampou Beach is around 5 km away while and Perri and Psili Ammos are both about 4 km away.



Mount Kerkis offers beautiful hiking routes through pine forest, including trails toward the cave-chapel of Pythagoras and panoramic views across the Aegean. Marathokampos village is also worth exploring for its stone-paved lanes, traditional architecture, and historic churches. The waterfront of Ormos Marathokampou retains the quiet charm of a working fishing port, while the Monastery of the Virgin Mary, known locally as Panaitsa, is just a short drive away. Seasonal boat excursions also depart for the islet of Samiopoula and for remote beaches accessible only by sea.
