"My family holiday at Onusa, was a mixed experience. The hotel as such is a true pearl! One of the best places i have visited over my past 10 years in Thailand. But the food was madly overprized even for an area known to have overprized hotels in terms of food. 160 baht for a pot of hot water and a lipton tea bag is simply redicolous. The food in general was also way overprized. The pool is in a miserable state, but is currently being renovated. Cleaning was also way below...

"The "Hotels.com" villa was the last one in the rear of the complex with no view of the beautiful moutains behind or of the beach and sea in front of the unit. There were plenty of nicer units available. No one on the staff spoke English and was nearly impossible to communicate even with Google translator. The beach and surrounding area is beautiful and there are many local restaurants with great authentic Thai food."
