The air conditioning worked great, the room was decorated and painted nicely. Mostly things were in good order. Only problem was a pair of underwear left hanging in the bathroom from a previous guest. Was a little confusing getting into the parking lot but we are from out of state. It was nice getting to choose our floor we stayed on.
The hotel itself was nice, clean, and comfortable, and I enjoyed my stay overall. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk left a lot to be desired.
When we checked in, we gave the front desk agent a card to keep on file. She specifically told us she was not going to charge the card, but then she attempted to charge it anyway. When the transaction didn’t go through (I assume because of a fraud alert), I asked why she charged it after saying she wouldn’t. That’s when she explained there was a required deposit, which had never been mentioned beforehand. We were fine with paying a deposit, but clear communication would have avoided the confusion. She also never told me the total amount before processing the payment.
I also think a $250 security deposit is excessive, especially for a property that was previously a Motel 6.
The next morning, around 8:00 a.m., we asked if we could extend our stay by just one more night. Instead of simply extending the reservation, we were told we had to make a brand-new reservation and pay another $250 deposit. I’ve stayed at many hotels and have never encountered a policy like that.
The property itself was pleasant, but the lack of communication and customer service at the front desk made the experience frustrating. With better transparency and staff training, this hotel would have earned a much higher rating.

Ok stay for a night while passing through. Clean overall.
The shower curtain is short and water will be splashed everywhere if you move too much in the shower. Overall nice location and clean rooms. But the room we stayed in was kind of small and difficult to put two big pieces of luggage.
In decades of travel around the globe I have NEVER encountered a check in experience that forced me to leave for fear of my own safety. The behavioral "snap" seemed to be concurrent with my confirmation that the reservation was prepaid. Beware. Do not prepay. There are many hotels in SLC. This is an old 1 star accommodation attempting rebranding. The photos did not and still do not represent this property.
I feel very spoiled to complain about this, but there was no microwave, mini fridge, or hair dryer in my room. I found this really inconvenient and my meal costs went way up. On the other hand, my tv wasn't working and their lovely helpful staff came over twice a day for two days before they could get it permanently fixed. Always cheerful, chatty, helpful, and kind, which I very much appreciated. My room was immaculately clean, bed comfy, and very quiet so I slept well. All in all, I would stay there again
The rooms are very small and claustrophobic. There were debris on the floor, under the chair, toilet seat was stained, shower is dirty. We saw the maid threw linens down to the ground from the second floor towels hitting the concrete parking lot. The pictures online does not look the same in person. We did not stay here. I was charged for one night for canceling last minute. I don’t regret canceling.
No ice machine in this heat not good. After this location was remodeled from an old Motel 6, it reopened several weeks ago as the Park Inn. Our room was so what okay but the remodeling job was substandard. We woke up the next morning with ants in our room.
Hotel is not what it seems on website. The hotel has a similar setting as a motel. I didn’t expect this experience being that room is small and crowded. Hotel doesn’t offer refrigerator upon request. No microwave or closet offer to put your belongs away. Phone inside room not operating/
No dial tone, no complimenting tooth brush or water fountain. No breakfast offered. Only hot water and maybe some cereal that’s all.
I won’t recommend this hotel for family, maybe for individuals that’s are seeking a place just to sleep.
