Top Sainte-Gemme-Moronval Hotel Reviews

Bel Ami

8/10 Good

"The hotel is charming and in a lovely setting on the river. It feels like they have recently updated the rooms and bathrooms but the carpets are horrendous. When you walk into the hallways the stains are so bad that I didn't want to stay there and was immediately worried about the rooms. The rooms were nice but with the same terrible carpet. FIrst impressions matter and it is a bad first impression. The restaurant is wonderful, breakfast was great with views of the river. No elevator to the second floor but the staff helped with the bags."

Mercure Maintenon

8/10 Good

"The breakfast was amazing and the restaurant is truly original with the biggest " cheese dome" in the world. The big problem I had was that the rooms are not equipped with a mini bar which is a must at any time of the year but more so during a heat wave. I was upgraded to a room with a tiny fridge and no alcohol in it. There was no vending machine either. The underground parking is very convenient with a direct elevator to the reception area."

L'Epi Hotel

8/10 Good

"This is a really comfortable hotel in a very convenient location, right on the edge of town close to major roads and not too far from the station. The hotel is immaculately clean and the staff are very friendly. The food is also good and reasonably priced. We stayed 3 nights and the ONLY downside for us was that on the second and third mornings there was no milk available at breakfast for cereal and tea. Our request was met with a mild apology and shrug. We mentioned this to the manager and suggested that perhaps someone could go and fetch some for the following day from the huge supermarket a couple of hundred metres away and he said this wasn’t possible, so there was no milk the following morning either!! This was such a weird situation, and if this hadn’t happened we would have given the hotel an overwhelmingly positive review. Special mention for the young lady serving dinner on the evenings we were there-she was lovely!"
