A disappointing property & uncomfortable guest experience
Property location inaccurate on VRBO site - actually 10 km from Sainte Anne, 13 km from Anse des Salines, and facing the Sargassum seaweed-soiled eastern coast. Extremely slow internet. Very old pool with shaky railings & splinter-risk decking. No privacy fencing or vegetative barrier for outdoor living area which is 10 feet from a busy service road in a noisy neighbourhood. Tired furnishings. Shabby linens/towels. Neglected gardens. Owner who requires communication only in French language (though he does understand some English) and who, after presenting you a nice "Welcome Basket", demands 50 Euros cash in advance for cleaning services not yet rendered. Poor value & overall experience.

Bittersweet experience
We had a bittersweet experience with this accommodation. Cons: the owner contacted us one week before to tell us we would have to bring 50 € cash to pay for the cleaning and another 300 as deposit. We were upset about that because normally everything is included in the bill we pay online. We contacted the customer service which said he wasn’t supposed to ask for cash and they sent him a form to add the extra money via the website so that we could pay with the credit card but he never filled it and maintained his idea of us bringing cash. He contacted me everyday and was getting pissed off because I wasn’t answering quickly enough during ma vacation time. The owner couldn’t understand that we travel without phone data, using only wifi so that we weren’t reachable at all time. He was really hard to deal with , answering rudely and putting pressure on us to arrive at a precise time because he wanted to give us the key in person but also saying that he has better things to do. The whole week before arriving the accommodation was stressful and unpleasant because of his demands. The other disappointment we had was to realize the accommodation is not at all where is was advertised. On the ad, the pin is right in the centre of Ste-Anne so we thought we could walk everywhere. However, the accommodation is high in the mountain a good 10-15 minutes by car from the town so nothing was walking distance. The owner said it’s not him who pin the address… Wifi was also very slow. Pros: however, the place was as beautiful as on the pictures. The area is quiet and safe. We had everything to cook even spices and oil. The view and the deck were amazing. The check out procedure was simple and the owner was much nicer in person than by writing. He welcomed us warmly.

Vue imprenable
Cette maison est très agréable, beaucoup de charme avec ses deux grandes chambres elle est idéal pour une petite famille. La terrasse et sa petite piscine avec la vue imprenable sont un must. La maison est naturellement très bien ventilée ce qui nous a permis durant notre séjour ne pas avoir a utiliser la Clim. Anse Michel magnifique plage à 5min en voiture de nombreuses petites commodités que nous a gentillement conseillé Fred a quelques minutes de la maison. Très bonne et exposition de la maison avec soleil du matin au soir. Cerise sur le gâteau feee est un super hôte sympa drôle et de très bons conseils. Nous recommandons vivement

Magnifique maison authentique
Fred est hyper accueillant et tres accessible à tout moment. Il a régulièrement pris des nouvelles lors de notre séjour. Sa maison est un bijou sur les hauteurs du cap chevalier (légère confusion avec le titre qui indique Sainte Anne), la maison est encore plus belle en vraie que sur les photos. Complètement à l’image de ce qu’on imagine quand on pense à une maison authentique martiniquaise. Et on ne se lasse pas de la vue sur mer aussi bien, depuis la terrasse, le salon et depuis la cuisine. A conseiller à 100%

Super séjour en famille avec de jeunes enfants
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Fred dans sa maison créole typique. La localisation est parfaite car au calme avec une vue magnifique, proche de toutes les commodités et d’un côté de Sainte Anne et de l’autre, en contrebas de la maison, les jolies plages du Cap Chevalier côté Atlantique, plus sauvages et épargnées par les sargasses. Le logement est bien équipé et fidèle aux photos même si certaines pièces, notamment la salle de bain mériteraient un p’tit coup de frais. La piscine est plus petite que ce qu’elle paraît sur les photos mais très agréable et juste bien avec de jeunes enfants. Et dernièrement, super communication avec notre hôte Fred qui est très réactif et sympathique.

Le parardis existe nous l avons trouvé !
Une maison charmante où l on se sent de suite bien, confortable et idéalement située. Une piscine qui donne la mer au loin, des oiseaux qui gazouillent, un calme, une terrasse avec vue … bref c est super ! Fred est aux petits soins et des intentions charmantes à notre arrivée nous ont permis de passer un séjour formidable .. je vous recommande vivement cette location

Haus eie beschrieben
Das Haus, ist wie im Inserat beschrieben. Es war alles sehr sauber. Das Haus liegt in einer Siedlung, in der die Häuser teilweise bewohnt sind und die anderen vermietet werden. Dementsprechend muss man mit Siedlungsgersäuschen rechnen. Die Einrichtung ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber noch zweckmäßig. Fred gibt sich viel Mühe, um den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Wir hatten einfach Pech, dass sich der Router verabschiedet hat, der Pool ein Leck hatte und teilweise kein Wasser vorhanden war Aber bis zu unserer Abreise hat alles wieder funktioniert.

Une villa "bleu marine" qui vaut le détour !!!
Merci beaucoup à Fred, un super hôte qui nous a accueilli chaleureusement lors de notre arrivée en Martinique :) Très sympathique et disponible, il nous a permis de passer un excellent séjour sur l'île grâce à ses conseils et à sa magnifique maison avec vue imprenable sur la mer et sa piscine qui a fait le plaisir des enfants (et nous aussi !). Un extérieur et un intérieur spacieux avec l'essentiel des équipements dont on a besoin pour profiter de vacances au soleil ! Merci encore Fred de la part de nous 4 (Steven, Sandrine, Tom et Nola) et on espère à bientôt ;)

Beautiful Place in great location!
Great Place, typical carribean holiday home, beautiful views! If you are looking for a great large house with beautiful deck and views and don’t mind the one or the other ant or bug this is for you. But be aware: The place is nowhere near St Anne like located in the map - it‘s 2 km away from Cap Chevalier in the residence Mahoganys.

Le séjour dans l'ensemble c'est bien déroulé Il manque un micro-ondes ( très pratique) , une bouilloire, un sèche cheveux ! La literie correcte. La cuisine est vieillotte, avec de vieux accessoires, se qui n'empêche pas de cuisiner quand même. La piscine paraît plus grande en photo. L'hôte est accueillant et agréable. Par rapport à l'annonce le logement est situé plus vers le nord, l'adresse est mal indiqué. Après dans ses maisons qui sont mal isolé, nous sommes réveillé de bonne heure par le coq :) Elisa et Anthony

Résidence de charme
En premier lieu il y a d'abord l'hôte : un vrai coup de coeur ! Nous avons été régulièrement en contact, sa maison, c'est son bébé ! Ensuite la maison : le plafond haut, les matériaux de qualité, la vue qui transporte jusqu'à la mer, la décoration personnelle et soignée : tout est parfait...Il y a une belle énergie et on s'y sent comme chez soi. Le jardin est arboré, agréable et dévoile des couchers de soleil improbables et inoubliables. Le dernier atout est la piscine qui en surplomb, permet de contempler les vagues qui s'échouent sur la barrière de Corail. L'emplacement est proche des principales plages c'est un bon point de chute pour rayonner dans le secteur. Nous recommandons sans réserve, surtout que nous avons pu comparer avec de nombreux hôtes et lieux en Martinique : y a pas photo, ici c'est parfait, à un tarif tout à fait raisonable... Merci Fred, tu fera partie des bons souvenirs de notre voyage :)
