The residence is rather perfect for families. Enjoy scenic walks through the region and visit the nearby towns of Saintes and Cognac, where you will find several restaurants and bars. The beaches of Royan are 45-60 mins away and the pretty village of St. Sauvant, with a bar and a little shop, is within walking distance. The house goes back to the 18th Century when it was a barn. A feeling of peace and tranquillity prevails in every corner, inside and outside. The home also benefits from substantial stone walls which keep the internals cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Sit back on the large terrace for a family meal or lounge by the pool and top up your tan.
