## Emplacement
Once a fishing village, Saint-Raphaël is now a sports and cultural city as well as a seaside resort popular with tourists. The city offers a wide variety of landscapes and activities and is divided between the old town, the different harbours and the beaches. The city stretches over 36 kilometres of coastline and offers 30 fine sandy or pebble beaches, from the city centre to the confines of the Alpes-Maritimes. With all the pleasures of nautical activities such as sailing, swimming, fishing and diving, walks by the water, as well as a maritime archaeological museum. You can also discover many cultural sites such as the old town, the Romanesque church of Saint-Rafeu, the Basilica of Notre-Dame de la Victoire or the Jardin Bonaparte.
