When you need it.The Gite had not been used for a while and was dusty. "We love coming to the area and this house is just wonderful - cool inside when the weather was extra hot. We timed the stay for the July 14th celebrations and vide-grenier which was extra fun to see so many people out and about! Dominique met us at the house, let us in, and gave us her phone number in case we needed anything while we were there. Would definitely recommend - the area also now has a 4G phone signal so I had to disconnect my phone from data to stay away from work emails :D...

"Nice little house outside town with large windows and porch and a lot of privacy. Could be cleaner (not just for the eye) and the lighting could be better, but we had a very nice stay for a week, we even prolonged our stay with a day. The kitchen is well provided and the bathroom is good with a nice hot shower and lots of towels provided by the host. There is a bikepath along the canal to the little town of Decize, where there are a couple of nice restaurants. And there is a big supermarket...
