「Excellent welcome. We arrived at the gate and we're greeted in a very friendly professional manner. We were welcomed into the lovely courtyard with a smile and guided professionally through the check in process. Our french is not very good and their english was excellent so it made us feel at ease. 「Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.」

「It was a lovely stay, the hostess was a very gracious lady, the breakfast was great, fresh bageutte, croissant, boiled egg, jams, coffee or tea, fruit juice, all in your own semi private dining area,just enough to get you going for the day. It was also a easy walk to pretty much everything! The room was tastefully decorated with plenty of antiques, and the bathroom was up to date and clean, overall a great stay」

「What a superb little place, not so little as the dog and I had the house to ourselves. If you want something which is quiet, safe, typically French and within a 10 minute walk of a fab bistro in the village then this is for you. Host was superb, great communication and attention. Would highly recommend as a pit stop if driving from UK to Spain.」

「We loved our stay at La Maison Jules! It is located close to the train station/visitor center and walking distance to the museums and the old town. The house has great character and the room/bathroom was very spacious. We truly enjoyed our breakfast and conversations with the host. 」
