「We liked the Holiday Inn Express Caen/Epron. It was new, very clean and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The only drawback is there isn’t anything within walking distance. It’s kind of in a business area so you can’t walk to a cafe or even a grocery store. We had a car and were comfortable driving everywhere so it wasn’t a problem but it could be if you’re expecting it to be in an area that is walkable. 」

「I like everything except that Ibis stop giving free breakfast, if you want it you have to add to your bill. Everything else was perfect」

「Awesome place to stay. The staff spoke good english and were very helpful. Manuel and Sebastion were very knowledgable about the area as well as its history. They were great to have around to help my family and i with planning our route to hit all the spots relevant to the allied invasion of 1944.」

Portsmouth to Caen Walking distance to historic sights (William the conquerer birthplace and castle) Breakfast excellent Can’t recommend this highly enough 」
