I wish check in hours weren’t so limited - we arrived earlier than expected and wanted to drop off our bags, but had to wait around in the car a long time (since we didn’t want to leave our luggage unattended) until the check in hour that begins at 5p, since the doors are locked and no one answered the door until then. Also wish that they had AC- it was pretty hot during our stay."

"This is a lovely place to stay and the host was gracious and went out of his way to help in every way possible. I arrived on my bicycle and was able to put it into the secure garden area onto which the entrance of the property opened. There is a nice seating area in the open fronted barn, which is perfect for a quiet drink. The room was terrific. Spacious, immaculate and with everything I needed. "The owners, Gaelle and Bruno, are grand hosts and are charming. This visit was our second, and if we return to Amboise, we will stay there again. The rooms in the manor house are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is a must. Our hosts provided recommendations for dinner that were not tourist oriented, and helped us schedule a taxi to the railway station."
