Great location if you want to be close to the train. A bit of a yucky walk with not much else around. Was excited for a roof top bar/restaurant, they only serve 3 course meals, no options for bar snacks or lighter meals which was disappointing. Rooms are beautiful, just very noisy! Especially my third night when I had to change rooms as it was an additional booking, was under the kitchen and they banged around until after 11 and were back at 530, so impossible to sleep. Absolutely do not use the laundromat near the train station, very scary and unsafe.

The location was very central, but away from the noise. Beautiful clean and spacious room. They have an excellent team, Claire, Remy were extra helpful A must for the people seeking for a quiet , holiday

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel. Pros: Great location near shopping/old town. Hotel staff very attentive. Rooms clean and well maintained. Cons: Repairs/scaffolding underway create noise and visual impairment out windows. Pigeons (birds) are in the walls/ceilings of several rooms... they have penetrated through the roof or air vents (noise). Bathroom shower stall very small and shower floor dangerously slippery. Neutral: Breakfast buffet good at fair price, but scrambled eggs are really a mix of eggs and milk (horrible taste).

Horrible small pokey room .. couldn’t believe they would offer ..intercontinental shouldn’t give their name to it.. they gave me an upgrade which was a little better… old carpets , very old scratched furniture..no excuse ..no idea alternatives In Bordeaux but certainly would avoid this hotel.

Breakfast was incredible and staff was attentive
