Minutes from downtown! This private hideaway is customized for your comfort with a vaulted ceiling, heating and air conditioning, and a delightful private view into the garden. Start your day with a hot cup of coffee or a soak in the hot tub! Enjoy Sacramento like a local with a stay in beautiful Land Park.

The space..
The Garden Cottage is detached and located behind my residence in beautiful and charming Land Park. Walking distance to great restaurants, markets, and coffee shops such as Chocolate Fish, Taylors Market, Freeport Bakery, Vic’s Cafe and Ice Cream, Starbucks, and the historic Tower Theater.

300 square feet of comfortable living space with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker (and coffee) in the room. Entire yard available with comfortable seating in back yard or side patio. The cottage is nicely appointed with internet, a smart TV with Roku, Netflix and Amazon Prime.

The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and great for walking around. There is so much to explore right here in Land Park including a public golf course, the Sacramento zoo, walking trails or explore "the grid" downtown. The State Capitol is less than 2 miles away and is a must see if you've never been. Old Sacramento and the Tower Bridge are 2 miles away and is a fun stop to fit into your visit.
There is free and convenient street parking in front of the main house.

Guest access
Entire yard available with comfortable seating in back yard or side patio. You may be invited to play fetch by my my black lab Toby during your stay :-) The hot tub is privately located behind the cottage and is available during your stay.
Other things to note
Very comfortable queen size bed will ensure a restful nights sleep!

I had a 5 night stay here. It was such a relaxing stay. My small dog and I were welcomed by Toby the dog. Cynthia gave us clear instructions of how to get to the cottage and settled in. My dog and I walked the neighborhood daily. The street and homes looked as if it could be in a movie. Neighbors were friendly. The hot tub is behind the cottage, perfect for some privacy. The room was clean, well stocked and cozy. Downtown is minutes away. I will definitely make another reservation when I need a stay-cation.

Cynthia was an exceptional host --- helping us out when we ran into airline issues. The cottage is very comfortable and well appointed, and we love the Land Park area (where we have friends). Toby made us feel very welcome with his green tennis ball. :) Thank you, Cynthia, for making our stay (in multiple stints) very comfortable.

Cozy and clean
We ended up staying for a very quick overnight (though will be more) but the listing is exactly what it is described. Very cute million dollar neighborhood, beautiful fall trees - it was wonderful. Lots of morning walkers and friendly neighbors. One thing worth mentioning - the mattress is simple memory foam, so if you are the person who gets “sucked in the mattress and warm” this may be a challenge…

Highly Recommend It!!! Best kept secret!
It was a perfect place for us! Gorgeous neighborhood. Quiet. We loved the location, the many restaurants and parks. The shower - large with the perfect water pressure. All electric plugs worked. Clean. We felt very safe. Very comfortable and welcoming. The host was amazing! She greeted us in person and gave us a tour of the home before we settled in for the night. We highly recommend this place. We loved this place so much that we are booking again for our trip in Feb. 2024!

Great spot
This 2 day rental was a great find for us. Toby, the dog was fun, the hot tub was clean and a welcome place to sit with a glass of wine. The location was fabulous, big trees, nice neighbor hood, easy to get around. Cynthia was a great host.
