"It took a few minutes to figure out where the key was for our cabin but the cabin was very nice and clean. I’m not sure if it was worth the price for a couple. We didn’t need two bedrooms. It would be a better value for 3+ people."

"This was everything we hoped it would be. Unique, private, clean, well equipped as it should be and convenient to the North coast for all the beauty and wilderness it has to offer. Everything worked except for the weather which no one can control. When I come back to Cape Breton, I will be booking Blue Bayou again and well in advance since it will soon be a must for thousands of Cabot Trail visitors throughout the season."

"The Spruces was clean and comfortable, and a great location for exploring this area of the Cabot Trail. Unfortunately (for us) we visited during the September storm, which limited our locale exploration. But we were very pleased to have a safe, warm and comfortable "save haven" during the storm. "We had an incredible stay at this amazing house and location. The beach is so beautiful, the house was great and close to many activities (whale tours, zip lining, fishing charters, trails). I appreciated that the house was so well stocked with amenities that it made the stay so easy. We loved our time at this house and the owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommended!!"
