Great spa & Gym

Upon checkin we got upgraded for a few dollars, not sure if it was worth the upgrade we got like some more space, but overall the room was very dated. The hotel is located in the city center, and parking was very confusing at first since you need to park on the other side of the street next to a grocery store, which we had no knowledge of prior, so we were just driving around to find a place to park until we randomly found the hotel parking spot. The hotel has a great SPA and a good gym, but you need to pay extra for a spa pass, but its well worth it. It has great location, the breakfast started to late so was unable to experienced it. The hotel feels old, but its when you go to the spa side it feels modern. Friendly staff, and we had no issues.

The room is odd shaped and funky layout of furniture. Bed is up against the wall on one side, so one occupant can’t get in bed easily. Room is dark. Parking lot is small, with a lot of cars squished in tight. Thankfully no scratches on automobiles

The people at check in: very nice & spoke English. Restaurant staff were great!!! Especially “ Bartek”. Hotel is close to all things in Roros: shops, restaurants and the Roros church + all the historic mining buildings and the train station!

I have traveled all around the world and this was the smallest room I have ever been in. The size of a closet. It was not updated to today’s standards. It was dirty and dusty the bathroom floor was cracked and the sink was all chipped up. The breakfast you had to order on line and very limited. My wife wanted a cappuccino with breakfast and they wanted to charge us for it saying only black coffee came with the breakfast. I would say this is only a two star hotel.

Trivelig personale og rene rom. Vi leide ei junior-suite. Stort og praktisk rom for en familie. Litt slitt og kunne vært litt mer innbydende ift interiør. Mørke rom med dårlig belysning. Vi benyttet oss av spa-avdelingen, men syntes det var altfor varmt der, så det ble bare en kort visitt. I tillegg var det for mye folk, nesten ikke plass til å oppholde seg der.

Det virker som at det ikke var fungerende avtrekksvifter i badene eller fra toalettene i 1. etasje. Det drar ned helhetsopplevelsen min ved oppholdet. Det virket også til å være tette rør for lufting av kloakkrør som kombinert med dårlig ventilasjon gir ubehagelig lukt på rommet vi hadde i 3. etasje. Fikses dette, gir vi tommel opp for resten.
