The owner/manager of the property was such a wonderful communicator, which I have come to appreciate so much on this trip where I'm staying at a number of VRBOs. Whenever I had a questions, she was quick to respond with very helpful answers. There are many restaurants close by. Two of my favorites were her recommendations: On the pricier/fancier side was Life Ristorante (SO DELICIOUS and spacious and classy) and the other seemed like more of a local favorite, Trattoria Della Stampa (again, SO DELICIOUS!!! Especially their eggplant...but not nearly as many tables available. While I was there, I saw them turn away people every five minutes who did not have a reservation, not an exaggeration). There is no elevator at this lovely place, so if you have heavy luggage, it'll be a bit of a to do getting them up three flights of stairs. But I had just one carry-on and a backpack so it wasn't bad. I felt very safe here. The keys worked great, the doors sturdy. The bathroom was beautiful but small. There was a washing machine and a drying rack! Yay!! The living room felt very spacious to me. There is no view from the bedroom, and the bedroom is pretty small, but the bed was big and comfortable. AC in both rooms. The kitchen looks very modern, it is very clean.... and stayed clean because I can't cook, sadly:) I would stay here again when I'm in Rome.
