My mom and I had a fantastic stay at The Rome EDITION. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and beyond helpful, especially when assisting my mom. Their kindness and professionalism really stood out and made our stay even more enjoyable.
We were also kindly upgraded to a different room, which we were very thankful for and really appreciated. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The hotel itself offers great amenities and has such a relaxing atmosphere, which was perfect after long days of exploring Rome.
The location is excellent, in a very safe and walkable area, with many of Rome’s main sights within easy walking distance. There are also great shops, restaurants, and cafés nearby, which made it easy to enjoy the neighborhood without having to travel far.
Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. Clean rooms, amazing staff, great amenities, and a fantastic location. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Rome
I’ve had an amazing stay and experience at the Rome Edition. The staff was incredibly friendly, great service. In general I was pleasantly surprised by the Italian hospitality. Will definitely return when coming back to Rome.
We loved our stay at the Edition. The hotel is very modern and recently renovated, also has a massive, clean and well equipped gym.
This hotel is located in a quiet street and yet is walking distance from a lot of major landmarks (spanish steps, Trevi fountain are about 10 min walk from the hotel).
Breakfast was another highlight with lots of good options to choose from. We ordered room service as well and the food was excellent.
Staff is very friendly and the hotel decor is very aesthetic and pleasing.
This hotel is EVERYTHING . I’ve stayed at Edition WeHo - also fabulous. There is nothing I didn’t LOVE about Rome Edition . The staff are exceptional, the food incredible. There’s nothing else I can except WOW .
This property is stunning. However, Rooms are small for the price. The staff acts as if they can’t be bothered helping the clients. We felt as though we were being judged. It feels like an “influencer” vibe, superficial and pretentious. I would not recommend staying here. The waiter at breakfast gave us serious attitude for our 7 euro cappuccino And seemed annoyed when we asked to pay. A hotel this pricey should offer free water and coffee in the lobby. We won’t be back.
This trip was a gift for my 75 year old mother who had never travelled and never experienced luxury. Amazing property, wonderful design, very convenient location to walk around Rome city center. The staff is very attentive and kind, especially Antonella the assistant Guest Experience & relations manager, she made my mom feel very comfortable by her attentiveness and kindness and talking to her in a language she could understand . Elena at restaurant Anima was extremely attentive, she remembered our preferences throughout our stay and always had a smile on her face. Cristian who took care of our table at dinner was extremely kind and very lively and playful which was a joy to my mother and myself. . The food was exquisite, everything we tried was beautifully presented and very tasty. In conclusion, aside minor remarks, this stay was exceptional and The Edition will definitely be a hotel we will consider coming back to in the future and recommend to friends.
Disappointing Experience – Not Up to 5-Star Luxury Standards
I recently stayed at The Edition Rome and unfortunately, the experience did not meet the expectations of a five-star luxury property. Upon arrival, we were informed that the systems were down, and as a result, we were given our room without any key cards, which made access to the room quite inconvenient.
Shortly after checking in, we requested an extra bed to be set up for our daughter. However, when we returned to the room after dinner, we found everything exactly as we had left it—no bed had been prepared, and there had been no evening turndown service at all.
Overall, the level of service fell short of what one would expect from a hotel in this category. While the property itself is beautiful, the operational issues and lack of attention to basic guest requests made our stay less than satisfactory.

When we arrived by car from Amalfi to Rome, there was no valet parking and we were recommended a very bad parking place which was full. Late at night laid in the bed for the first time and it was badly tilting down to one side so had very bad sleep. The following day they changed for a new mattress which was very very uncomfortable and hard. Not a pleasant stay. Power went out the first day and a worker told to my brother’s girlfriend in a rude manner “it’s not the hotel’s fault” when she politely asked why the elevator was not working when the power went out.
