Employees have always been friendly and helpful. Great place to stay if you want to visit area trails, Stone Mountain State Park, or historic downtown Elkin. "

"You get what you pay for. I went cheap because I just needed a few hours of sleep after a long day, and for the price it was okay. The staff was friendly, but the hotel is long overdue for a renovation. The toilet ran all night, and when I mentioned it at checkout, the guy at the desk said that they had been waiting for a part for it for two months. Really?? It’s just a toilet. Unimpressive, but safe enough for a bare-bones stay."
