Great property with everything we needed! We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit and had a great time fishing and paddle boating. The cabin is beautiful and the beds were comfy. Thanks for a great time!
Our group included seniors, middle aged, young adults, teens, a tween, and a 7 year old boy. We all had a great time. There is plenty of room to gather, and also plenty of room to slip away to relax.the property is right off 33 and convenient to all the attractions. But, to be honest, we hardly left the place. We found a nice hiking spot near by, .
Property was the perfect log cabin, clean, spacious, well stocked kitchen. We all enjoyed the hot tub even in the 40 degree weather and snow. Chilly outside but cabin nice and cozy with log burning fireplace. Hocking Hills area beautiful hiking. Kids hardly sat still with all there was to do… all slept very soundly. Our host Jared, was very helpful and timely in answering all of my questions. Would love to return some time!
Property was nice. Pond had many large catfish and smaller bluegills. The men in the family enjoyed themselves. The porches were great for family time. But it could have been power washed to get the large spiders webs. But it was a nice little place that accommodates 12 comfortably. 14 is pushing it.
We are all seniors and had a great time. The fishing was a let down as the fountain pond and upper were covered in scum. We did catch a couple.
Friday and Saturday the internet kept going in and out in the guest building, It was a pain for TV and iPads, but we managed. All in all we had a good experience
Thanks again
Well, the property was clean and lovely- it was off of a major road so you had traffic noise. The arcade existed of one pac man game. The hot tub was not safe to be in- filter was not working. And there were minor things that needed repair. Overall it was a nice little cabin and had a lovely porch and outside areas. It was not supplied with the basic needs- lacking pillows, towels, and blankets. Communication to remedy this was not good- I finally went and bought the stuff we needed at Walmart and the owner reimbursed my expense.
Inside the cabins very clean however could up grade furniture the stovetop oven still works but the duct tape job on the handle doesn’t hold! Hot tub was awesome, fishing was great caught some big catfish. The outside is what needs a little love grass around the house weeds just needs a good cleaning around the outside. Houses are minutes away from everything overall we enjoyed our stay but some little fixes could make this really great also Jared the host was perfect answered all questions and got back to you A lot immediately!!
The cabin and adjoining rec room / bunkhouse are fantastic. The kitchen was well equipped and I was able to feed a bunch of hungry teenage boys with a nice grill and plenty of utensils. :)
The cabin is exactly what you want in a relaxing atmosphere, the only slight detractor is the proximity to 33. The highway can be a bit noisy, but nothing too crazy. It was still a little early in the season to get the fish to bite, but I am confident they are in there. We saw several decent sized largemouth bass cruising around. The boys explored some of the woods, and though it was pretty muddy from all of the rain, we were able to have a campfire in the great fire pit.
Thanks to the hosts and cleaning staff for keeping a spotless place. It really was great to relax in for the weekend!
We had a group that came in from different parts of the country to celebrate a friends retirement form the military. The hosts were great in every way and everyone had a great time. The cabins were perfect for our group and we got some fishing in as well. This was a great place and I would highly recommend!
Excellent propery! The owner is fast in responses. I would recommend for fishing enthusiasts. Would love to be able to post a pic of the cat fish my sister caught. Only down fall was not enough bath towels. I highly recommend this property!
We stayed 1 night and it was great. The hot tub was for 4 people and we enjoyed it. We have 12 people and this place had rooms/beds for all of us. Highly recommendedz
Very deceiving photos of property. Inside cabin was dirty amenities were broken, but worked but dirty. The ponds were very small and extremely close to freeway you could hear and see traffic all night long.

Hocking Hills stay 2025
Place was pretty clean on the inside, but outside needs a lot of love... had issues with the washer and dryers, seemed we had issues with the dryers drying, and had to use the backup washer... Jared, our host was pretty good in responding to our requests...Just wasn't quite what we thought it was going to be...
When we arrived we were immediately overwhelmed by the dirt, dust and awful smell of this cabin. Game room is one old arcade machine. Kitchen is in one cabin and dining room table is in the other. The place was not cleaned, as there was still leftover McDonald’s in the fridge. The house is right off rt 33, so you can see and hear all traffic. Do yourself a favor and book a different cabin!
We were surprised to find that US 33 was close enough to hear constant traffic. The hot tub wasnt working but owner sent someone to fix it. It stopped working again but for us it wasnt such a disappointment that we felt unsatisfied. There was 12 of us and the property was nice and the cabins were clean and in good repair. We had a great stay. Would recommend for big groups who are looking for a resting place close to all the local attractions. Thumbs up from us!!!
This property was very nice, clean, and close to a lot of things. We had a great time fishing. There were some very big fish in the pond close to the house. Minnows worked great which you can buy at the bait shop near buy. If you are looking to catch catfish, chick liver did the trick. There are some rather large catfish in there.
Overall we came for the fishing and the place did not disappoint.
Despite the weather we were able to have a great time. The main cabin was SO cool with the reading nook doubling as a “DJ booth” for our kiddos performing a talent show. The kids loved their “bunk house”. Between rain showers kids had a blast fishing and having bon fires. We were a short drive to all of the caves and hikes in the park, which were incredible. The hot tub was great after long hikes. The only thing I’d say is check the location on a map to ensure it is where you expect in proximity to the highway. It’s close enough to hear it so if you want something fully secluded, this wouldn’t be the right place for you. We didn’t mind it at all, the host was EXTREMELY responsive to my many questions and was above average.
