KNOT VERY LODGE, Oceanfront Home, Rockaway Beach, OR.

Knot Very Lodge is a well kept, cozy oceanfront home. It has spectacular views of the ocean, and beach, from the living room, kitchen and dining areas.
While we do not have air conditioning our home is well ventilated...The climate is mild, so an a/c is not needed.
Knot Very Lodge offers 2 bedrooms which can accommodate up to 4 people comfortably. We have a queen in the Master, a Double in the 2nd bedroom. There is a Double Bunk in the bonus room. Great for kids.
The home is oceanfront which offers 30 x 12' ocean facing deck with chairs and large picnic/dining table.
There is a path just off the deck that leads you to the rock steps to the beach.
Rockaway Beach offers 7 miles of arguably, the best beach in Oregon. It's the best in our opinion, but then we're a little biased. It's perfect for anything beach fun can offer, from walking/beach combing, running, flying kites, tossing Frisbee's or Beachcombing.
KVL is located just a mile north of Rockaway Beach city center and across Hwy. 101 from Lake Lytle, where you can fish for stocked trout from the fishing dock.
KVL is located just 12 mile south of Manzanita, 30 miles south of Cannon Beach and only 16 miles north of Tillamook and the Tillamook Cheese Factory.
KVL is well equipped, as it is our home away from home. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots and pans, glassware, etc.
It has an oven, a microwave, a toaster, two coffee makers with one being a Keurig. It has a small dishwasher.
Most of our customers are repeat customers but we thought we would list it with VRBO to build our clientele base. We think you will find it to be a well cared for, cozy and clean and very relaxing home to spend time in.
The living room has TV with Cable TV and a DVD Player.

It is also dog friendly for a well behaved, house broken, dog.

The location cannot be beat! The vintage interior has charm and oozes a history of decades of joy. Contact with the host was consistently punctual. Although the Fall days were cool, it did not discourage us from long walks on the beach. Enjoyed the fire pit too. A great experience!

Fantastic view

This property was very clean, well stocked, and had a great location with a 24 hour view of the beach. The master bed was very comfortable, and over all a great weekend getaway for me, my husband and our dog.

Dan is everything you hope for in host. A great communicator and quick to respond to all my questions. This place is absolutely wonderful, the solitude, the ocean views and sunsets, the location just can’t be beat. It was very clean and quiet. The kitchen was extremely well stocked; anything that you could possibly need was there. Both the master and spare beds were very comfortable. Fantastic walks on the beach with our dog. Just a great week for us and our dog. We highly recommend Dan’s place. We will be back!

Beach view and access is unmatched!

Wonderful place to stay at the coast. Our dog loved the beach and the quick access( a walk down the rocks) to the sand was more than we could have hoped for. The house was clean, homey and had everything we needed.

Cozy stay

This was our second time staying at this home and it was just as wonderful as remembered it. The views are amazing and the house supplied everything we needed. So comfortable. We can’t wait for our next trip.

So relaxing and perfectly suited for us!

Third stay in as many years. So comfortable and well-equipped. Fresh seafood just down the road. Quiet beach with few visitors; no tide pools but they are not far away. Host is easy to access and responsive. Absolutely beautiful, unobstructed view of the Pacific. Twin Rocks right there. We feel like we’re getting away with something when staying here! Location Is Amazing!

Wonderful family trip

We had a lovely visit to this property for a family trip for my mother's 70th birthday with her grandson. The beach proximity was wonderful and the view is un-matched. The property is private and cozy. Would definitely love to return in the future. Very friendly and responsive hosts.

My favorite beach house

Knot very lodge is cozy, comfortable, and relaxing. I could sit all day, no matter the weather, and watch the waves. Coffee on the deck in am, fire pit in the PM. Best stay ever!! Can’t recommend it enough.

Perfect for us

Can't beat the location

My husband and I recently stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The pictures of the view truly do not do it justice. It was really incredible to enjoy sunrises to sunsets on the spacious deck, and to be just steps from the beach. We really enjoyed our time here. Inside, the property was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. I would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful vacation at Knot Very Lodge!

We loved our stay at Knot Very Lodge in Rockaway Beach. The house is perfect and the view is incredible. Right on the beach! The host (Dan) was easy to work with and very knowledgeable about the area. The house is equipped with everything you need. This was our first time visiting the Oregon coast and we cannot wait to visit again in the future. Rockaway Beach is a lovely little coastal town with plenty of food options and things to do. Very much looking forward to visiting again! Cheers!

Classic Beachfront House

We watched a movie, played sorry, walked and talked, drank wine on the deck, barbecued. We made friends with a seagull and the local ground squirrels. The human neighbors were nice too. Had the best time walking the beach and sitting on the deck watching waves. We'd like to stay again.

Beautiful view

This was our second time to stay at Knot Very Lodge, and we plan to do so again in the future. There is beach access available on large stepping stones, but for those not wishing to venture onto the beach, there are wonderful views from inside the house and from the front porch. We enjoyed a fire in the firepit, listening to the waves at night. The kitchen was well equipped for those who wish to cook, and restaurants are nearby. We highly recommend this cozy cottage.

This is a property astonishingly located up against crashing waves. An architect or contractor would have a field day working on the place. It’s completely stocked from spices to detergents and a full kitchen. In the winter the beach looks like Holland or parts of New Zealand. It’s very warm with electric wall heaters throughout. The host is very proactive to check that everything goes well for guests.

Always happy here!

I love being able to stay here with my well behaved dog every summer for a bit of regrouping and peace. It means so much to me! Dan is the best host you’ll ever find, so patient and accommodating! Wonderful open layout and gorgeous view but what tops it all off are the pics of his family and the homeliness of their home. I’m not one for the slick newly remodeled professionally managed places at all…so Knot Very is just my speed 🙂. Thank you, Dan, for offering a “real” vacation rental!
