This little log cabin has been transformed into an amazing spacious family holiday home featuring West Beach views.

The original Love Shack is still very much part of the new property, with the ground level being made up of a full kitchen, cosy sitting area featuring wood fire, modern master bathroom, original ensuite, 3 bedrooms and dining area. Leaving the ground level via the solid timber staircase leads you into a stylish and modern upgrade with cathedral ceiling and beautiful views. With sunlit and spacious rooms, the open plan living creates a space for the whole family to spend quality time together. 

NO BOOKING IS ACCEPTED WITHOUT RETURNING THE GUEST LIST WITH THE REQUIRED DETAILS

Credit card details are required for BOND security.

Bathroom and bedroom linen is supplied in all our properties for your stay, however we only supply what is required. NOTE linen is supplied only, if you require the beds to be made please book bed making with your booking request. It is the guest’s responsibility to notify the office if you require any special combinations. If no linen requests are made, we will make an assumption based on the guest number provided of which beds will be used at the property. Don't forget to bring your beach towels.

Cozy Family Getaway in Autumn/Winter with a Charming Fireplace

The environment and location are very good, very close to the coastal trail, and very suitable for a family vacation. The most interesting thing is the fireplace that can be used for making a fire—it was a novel experience for us who have never used this device before.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Plenty of room for 2 families, great location near the boat ramp and walks over the headland. About 20min nice walk to town. We were here with two families and it was great for us. The only thing that is a bit odd is that the sparkling new renovated area upstairs with the best views only has one bedroom. This meant that because most people were downstairs, we ended up doing most of the living & meals downstairs as well, even though upstairs was more spacious, fancier and better views.

We had a pleasant stay however it would have been better if things such as coffee, tea, sugar, salt, tissue, grad wrap, kitchen paper, foil etc were there for guests to use so the guests don’t need to go out and buy the whole lot for just few nights stay. The place was clean but was not cleaned before our stay as there were at least half dozen dead flies inside when we walked in. The beds are not made unless you pay extra for each bed to be made. No air conditioner so can be very cold. The location was good and is a nice walk to the light house. Overall a nice place to stay especially if traveling as a group. The house felt like a commercially run holiday home.

Lots of wood for the wood fire BUT on the last couple of nights the flu seemed be blocked - smoke whenever we opened the door and it didn't burn properly. That's all!

Great stay quiet location

The house is in a great location for walking along the Obelisk and ocean, very quiet at night. The phone reception is quite poor so just something to keep in mind. House is huge and so many beds and bedrooms, could easily have 2 families stay here with no dramas. Overall was a pleasant stay which is what we needed for our time away.
