I really enjoyed my stay it was very peaceful and calming at this location I love being inside the woods and enjoying the nature outside of my stay. Well worth it and vary safe place to bring your family and enjoying your time.
this cabin was amazing inside and out!! no one in site except yourself close to the river all the amenities that are needed good signal with our phones and quite highly recommend will be coming again for sure!!
Excellent property for a mid week get away or just a long weekend. Plenty of cell service but it sure does feel nice to turn off that phone and just hear the wind blow a bit. Great stay!
This cabin was perfect for our group! Enough space for all, very clean and well taken care of. Location was secluded and private, just what we were looking for. All the amenities of home, comfortable & clean.
Lovely cabin- felt like we were up in the mountains. Plenty of private space and wooded area for the dog to run around. The host was great at communicating and answering any questions. The only thing to be aware of is the long two-track driveway that can be a little tricky in wet or snowy conditions. I would highly recommend and stay again!
Myself, my wife and our dog needed to get away and this beautiful property absolutely nailed it. As the leaves changed colors it was a perfect place to unplug and relax for a while. We will absolutely be back.

Another great time
This was our third time at the cabin. Everyone had a great time. Looking forward to going back again and trying out the new sauna. The dogs enjoyed their long walks and we enjoyed coming back to the warm woodburning stove. Thanks again.

Beautiful place set back in picturesque forest.
Only downside is what appeared to be accumulation of nightly bat droppings by the front door. We adapted by using the side door.
It was a family gathering with ages from 90 to 9. We explored the woods and tubed and kayaked down the muskegon. My husband and son-in-law fished as we leisurely floated! The bonfires we awesome and the kids loved it! The accommodations were perfect for our family and loved the log cabin vibe! Robert was excellent in providing smooth checkin and recommendations for things to do. He was available for any questions which was very helpful! Overall wonderful experience!

Cabin
The forest setting of this cabin was beautiful especially the fire pit area. The grounds need some clean up.
The kitchen did not appear to be professionally cleaned. The host was notified. He sent the cleaning lady the next day.
While the property is on the river, the shore to put in a kayak is very difficult to navigate. Very steep trail to the river.
This is a very quiet and remote setting. Very peaceful. With a little more attention to detail, this property would have received a better rating from us.
Great cabin for a relaxing stay in the woods. Host was fantastic. If you are coming during the winter have 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive. A great time!
It’s a little off the beaten path but very nice cabin and well appointed. Wish I had more time!

Liked: Communication
Disliked: Amenities
The cabin itself was nice and we had a good time with family. However, the description of the amenities was not correct. There were not adequate pots/pans and utensils; there was mold in the shower; the massage bed did not work; and, unfortunately, there was dog waste left in a bedroom which we had to remove due to the odor. The owner was quick to respond during the stay, but not afterwards when we reached out to him to share our feedback.
Perfect October weekend! All four of us loved it - 5 if we include the dog! We enjoyed the firepit under incredible fall maple trees. The sauna was a fun touch, and the home itself was great. We played games, cooked and grilled, explored the local area, wandered down to the river a couple times, spotted more deer than we count, listened to the owls, carved pumpkins and just really had a great time.
