"Really beautiful secluded spot on the beach with a lovely staff, not to mention cute beach puppies! The beach was the best for swimming we encountered on our road trip, and the bird watching tower looking into the nature reserve was really cool. The bungalow with an outdoor shower was lovely. We were here for only one night, but wish we had been able to stay longer, and hope to be back soon! Quick note about google maps is that it doesn't think you can drive all the way there, but the road does continue and you can drive right to the front of the property. "

"After traveling 10 hours by bus from Cartagena, I was relieved to have arrived at Pavo Real. A wonderful vegetarian restaurant was on site and I got the room with a private pool. Such a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone is happy and you are well taken care of. I’d stay again! I loved it here. The room was clean and cleaned daily. Easy to walk to town and you can eat every meal at the hotel if you don’t want to eat in the main town proper. I’d definitely recommend staying here!"

"One of the most beautiful places to “ stay in Palomino, 20-30 minutes away from all the noise of Palomino’s night life. This hotel is located just in the delta’s river and the Caribbean Sea just a few meters away. A perfect paradise to contemplate nature…The staff is super courteous and friendly, Carolina from the front desk was very professional and efficient when finding our reservation. Homero seems to be the most welcoming and friendly, he gave us some tips and facts about the premises and Johan, a young man always willing to give us the best. If you want to relax and stay in a quiet area, go to this hotel i would highly recommend it. Good for the price, food is delicious and varied… if i ever go back to Palomino, i would definitely stay at Gavia without hesitation. Thanks to the staff.!!"
