Excelente ubicación

El departamento (especialmente la cocina y el baño) era más antiguo de lo que parecía en las fotos. La cocina es muy chica (como un pasillo), el equipamiento de vajilla es regular y el lavavajillas muy viejo. La ubicación es excelente, a unos 100 metros de la playa de Ipanema y también de la calle comercial y de la estación de subterráneo Jardín de Alá. El omnibus para ir al aeropuerto (Frescao) pasa a una cuadra, muy cómodo y seguro. La zona en general nos pareció muy tranquila y segura. Las personas que trabajan en la recepción son muy amables y atentas.

Nice Apart-Hotel in Ipanema Close to All You Need

This apart-hotel is one block from the beach, right across from the country club on "Posto 10" of Ipanema Beach. The apartment we stayed consisted of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living and dining rooms, kitchen and 2 balconies. One balcony have views of Ipanema Beach and the other of Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon and the Corcovado. While a bit dated, the apartment was very functional and had everything we needed for the 3-day stay with our 2 kids. The staff comes on a daily basis to make the beds and clean the kitchen and other areas needing attention. The building has a fitness center, large outdoor pool with life guard, spa, sauna as well as a restaurant for breakfast or lunch. Self park garage is included and monitored closely by the security staff of the building. The building is located within short walking distance from restaurants, shops, supermarkets and public transportation to all major touristic sites in Rio de Janeiro. We were very pleased with our stay and would certainly consider going back to the same apart-hotel on a next visit to Rio.

A localização é muito boa e o apartamento espaçoso; entretanto, o serviço é muito ruim. Quando chegamos não havia sequer uma garrafa de água mineral na cozinha, também não tinha nenhum pano de prato ou papel toalha, nem detergente/sabão na pia da cozinha. As toalhas de banho, apesar de solicitado por nós, não foram trocadas nenhum dia e a limpeza do quarto não era boa. O wi-fi não funcionava direito e a TV só pegava os canais abertos! O restaurante parecia abandonado, sujo; desistimos de tomar o café da manhã no hotel, que aliás não era buffet e também não tinha cardápio... O serviço não foi bom. Não recomendamos.

Place smelt like cockroaches. Tried to get towels after the 3rd day because we actually took showers and we never got replacements. I booked a room with a view and they tried to give us a room looking out into another building. The food was horrible! I wouldn't recommend the hotel if you are staying in rio. Also was not kid friendly at all.
