Peaceful Country Retreat Near PDX and ILANI

Enjoy private country living in this spacious 3,000 sq ft home. Nestled in between an expanse of hayfields, your new retreat is easy to find, about 20 miles from downtown Portland, and minutes away from award-winning wineries, craft breweries, restaurants and entertainment.

Looking for a secluded getaway? This peaceful retreat comes complete with a long, private gated driveway. Wake up and sip your coffee with views of grazing cattle and horses in nearby fields and Mt. St. Helens.

There is room for the whole family, with room for up to 8 people! This house has 3 bedrooms, including a master bedroom. HOWEVER, A 4TH AND MUCH LARGER MASTER BEDROOM IS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF $70 PER NIGHT. (PLEASE NOTE YOU HAVE TO BOOK FOR 8 PEOPLE TO GET THIS EXTRA BEDROOM). There is lots of room to feel comfortable with an expansive backyard that has an official bocce ball court and lawn chairs to sit and enjoy.

The kitchen has everything you need to make yourself feel at home, with pots, pans, and dining utensils for the whole family. Need to wash some clothes? A full-size washer and dryer are available as well.

Looking for at-home entertainment? Watch family-friendly movies on a 55-inch tv. The house now has free Wi-Fi with directions on how to connect in the Guest Handbook, located in the house. We are hoping while you are here, you take some time to explore the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Feeling adventurous? Perhaps hike in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, or soak in the view of the spectacular Multnomah Falls.

A bit hungry? Many eclectic and award-winning restaurants in Portland and Vancouver are waiting for your visit.

A bit closer to your new home, check out the restaurants and view at Vancouver's bustling new Waterfront Park. Feeling lucky? Step inside the brand new Ilani Casino, the West Coast's premier gaming, dining, entertainment and meeting destination. Ilani is a 10 minute drive from your vacation getaway.
**Dear valued guests**please keep in mind this is a working farm. Summer is our hay season which means, depending on weather, we cut and bale hay in the front field. The barns on the property are off-limits to guests. We thank you for understanding and hope you enjoy your country visit!

This property was wonderful. The hosts thought of everything you may need and included some nice touches like a welcome guide. Great location very private and just close enough to lots of attractions. Would definitely stay again.

Peaceful and Relaxing Stay

Great stay with extended family to visit the Clark County Fair. There was enough room for everyone, 4 adults and 2 kids! We really enjoyed all the space and quiet area. The kids had room to roam. We hope to stay again!

Wonderful property!

It was wonderful to be out of the city and on this property. We were just around the corner from where a family wedding was held, so was a perfect location for us! Loved being in a rambler of such size! Absolutely perfect for our extended family!

Beautiful property

We had a great time and loved the comfort and beauty of the property. It is surrounded by beautiful farm land, horses, cows and classic barns. There were fun games to play like bocce ball and corn hole. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the guest house .Beds are comfortable. House is very spacious with a welcoming feel. Linda and Joe are wonderful hosts and provide a beautiful home . Wonderful home and host

What a great place!

I wish my home were as immaculate! We had 6 people but paid for 8 to access an additional master suite, which was perfect. Husband and I stayed in the additional master and our kids and grands stayed on the other side of the house. Enjoyed cooking in the nice kitchen. We had a great time. Highly recommend for families.

Amazing property & hosts

Had to come to town for a memorial. Needless to say we were not in high spirits for the trip. However, our hosts were extremely responsive during the booking process and even more thoughtful as we arrived to fresh eggs, fruit, flowers and a hand written note of condolences. The house was a perfect place for our family both young and old to gather in remembrance of our loved ones lost. 10 out of 10 would recommend staying here!

Beautiful!

We had an amazing time. The house was perfect for us. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds very comfortable and plenty of towels! Amazing space. The yard and playground were great for the kids-plenty of room for them to run around! My husband really wished there was cable or internet (March Madness-my bad, stated but I was not looking for that) but he survived:-). Would definitely stay here again! Thank you for providing such a wonderful place!

Nice and big.

This property was lovely. There was ample amount of space in fact we had 8 adults staying and it felt like we barely filled the house. The property around the house was expansive and had plenty places for kids to play. We didn't make any food while there so can't really say anything about the kitchen and available utensils. The beds were all comfortable and the bathrooms clean. Extra blankets and towels were easy to find.

Family Reunion

The Guesthouse was the perfect location in Clark County and an easy access from I-5 & 205, to the many sightseeing places to enjoy here in Southwest Washington. The house serviced all our needs: the amenities, the accommodations, the ample living spaces to gather for eating and sitting.The rural setting provided a private and lovely setting. I recommend this peaceful country retreat for its comfort, convenience, and enjoyment. o

Convenient location

Easy to find and conviently located to most everything. Driving through the gate and seeing this beautiful home and property was reassuring that we'd made the right choice in our VRBO. The house was so clean and inviting. The light switches in the house were a little confusing, but made me think of our own home as we have a few that go to the same light/outlet. I was pleasantly surprised that the big master was opened for us, because i didnt think we requested that. That made my husband andy stay wonderful so that we wouldnt have have kids fighting over bedrooms...we all had our own. Hoping that we can make another trip and possibly stay at this same house again. Absolutely loved the property!
