Apartment 1A is a stylish two-bed apartment, located on the ground floor of a traditional family house in Agion Anargiron, a quiet residential neighbourhood just seven minutes walk from the Old Town and very close to Rhodes city!

Our apartment has recently been renovated to a high standard and is fully equipped for your holiday. It’s perfect for couples, solo travellers, and families with older children.

The Space:

Apartment 1A is a self-contained two-bed property with a spacious outdoor patio, which sleeps up to five people.

There are two bedrooms. The rear bedroom contains a double bed, wardrobe, drawers and has patio doors leading to the back yard. The front bedroom contains two single beds, a pair of wardrobes, and drawers. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning units to keep you cool during our hot summers and wall-mounted televisions.

The main living space is open plan with a comfortable sofa that opens to a third bed, a wall-mounted TV with cable, and air-conditioning unit. There’s a dining table and chairs, and a fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, and two types of coffee machine. There’s also a range of pots and pans, toaster, toasted sandwich maker, juicer, as well as the usual kitchen stuff. We provide salt, pepper, some basic herbs, and tea and coffee for your arrival.

The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink, and we provide shower gel and shampoo for your convenience. We also provide a hairdryer. There is a washing machine in the hall and clothes dryer in the back yard.

The back yard is comfortably equipped with easy chairs for lounging, and a table and chairs for outdoor meals.

Things to Note:

We provide bed linen and towels for the house, although we ask you to bring your own towels to take to the beach. There’s a wifi router in the house with reliable speeds of 8mbps (which is good for Rhodes!). All the doors and windows have mosquito nets and we provide a mosquito plugin for each bedroom.
The house is equipped with smoke alarms, emergency lighting and a first-aid kit.
No smoking in the property please, although you can smoke outside. No parties or events.

Perfect spot
We loved this place! It was exactly what was advertised. Lots of space with a great kitchen that has everything. The outdoor patio is lovely. We took advantage of one of the restaurants that he recommended and it was delicious and reasonably priced. An adorable little spot. Very happy with our choice. He answers all your questions and makes you feel welcome.

Holiday 15th June to 25th June 2023
The property is very central for the beaches east and west. Both 15 to 20 minutes walking distance. The same can be said for both the Old and New town but 20 to 25 minutes walking distance. If you don’t want to drive, short taxi journeys are an alternative. Supermarket and butchers are close as are one or two restaurants. The Old town is special at night for gift shopping, drinking and eating. Boat trips to Lindos and Symi Island are recommended. We enjoyed 10 days at the apartment and will visit again. Thanks Nick for all your advice and help.

The perfect place for a small family!
The location this home was in the heart of Rhodes and close to everything. I had my husband and two small children with me and we had more than enough space. We were greeted by the owner when we arrived and he made sure we had everything we needed. The home was spotless and decorated nicely. The back patio was beautiful and had plenty of seating. We had cleaners come halfway through our stay to tidy up and provide fresh linens, which was so nice. Everything about this home was perfect for our stay. We were actually so sad to leave because it felt like our home away from home. We hope to be back soon!

The apartment was well very well equipped and the location was central yet quiet. Our host Nick was friendly and helpful, bringing extra towels and whatever else we needed. He also pointed in the right direction for all our Rhodes discoveries. Highly recommend and we will definitely book again

Great urban stay
We did struggle to access transportation. Phoning for a taxi proved difficult. On several occasions we were unable to get a Taxi to respond to come to the property.. ( they hung up when they heard English) The bus service instructions need updating. The walk to the old town and beaches was strenuous in the heat. The property was really good and great value for money. nick was an excellent host.

Nick's apartment was in an ideal setting for us in that we felt very much as if we had 'slotted in' to the local area. There are hardly any other tourists in the locality, but when you walk the 10 - 15 mins. to the Old Town they are all around. The apartment is close to lots of coffee shops, so you are spoilt for choice; plus there are 3 well stocked supermarkets very close by. The apartment itself is very spacious, light and well equipped. The kitchen has all the appliances you need. The outdoor area is great when you just want to relax with a book and a cold drink. All in all, it can be thoroughly recommended.

Perfect!
Apartment 1A is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for accommodation in Rhodes. It is located in a residential neighbourhood which has all of the amenities that you would require, to include shops, supermarkets, bakery and some fabulous restaurants. The apartment itself is extremely spacey with a clean bright decor. The apartment is well furnished and has everything that you’d need to experience a home from home! Perfect Home Away Experience
An overall lovely holiday rental experience. Nick is a gracious, considerate host responding promptly to whatever is needed. We found the apartment clean and comfortable. Location is central with easy access to groceries, pharmacies, restaurants and coffee shops as well as being within easy walking distance to both the Old Town and the Downtown. Make sure to pay close attention to Nick's guide book. His recommendations are stellar!

Absolute perfection
It’s with a heavy heart I write this review because it feels like I’m leaving my home. My wife and I spent 3mths travelling around the Greek islands, and Apartment1A was by far the best place we stayed without a shadow of doubt! The home is stylish, modern, has absolutely everything you could ever need (from beach towels to shopping bags, herbs and spices to even a cooking apron), Nick and Daffy have thought of everything you could possibly need AND it’s of exceptional quality and taste. Location is perfect, there’s a supermarket down the road but closer than that is an amazing butcher, a fantastic bakery and local shops selling everything you could possibly need. Walk into the old town is about 15 minutes, the beach about 25 minute walk, you’ll feel very “Game of Thrones” as you twist and turn through the streets to explore, with even more local shops inviting you in. Some great restaurants are also close, totally away from the usual overpriced and typical tourist traps. Living here you really do feel like you’re a local. 100% we’ll be back next year, the owner(s) are unbelievably friendly, welcoming and answer any questions you may have. I’ve struggled to think of a ‘but’, there isn’t - it’s absolute perfection and whoever stays here is going to have an amazing time! Nick, Daffy; our sincere thanks, see you soon!! Jason+Buket

Fantastic apartment. Amazing terraced area. Clean and modern. Great owners.
Apartment has everything you need. Fantastic air con in all the rooms. The covered terrace area is lovely. We could walk to the old town in 10 minutes. All the local shops are close by, with amazing restaurants. The locals eat in these restaurants. Amazing food. Very very quiet area. Had the best sleep. The owners really care about your stay. We arrived quite late and the shops were closed. The owner went to his own home and came back with a bottle of wine for us. They will organise a taxi for you from the airport. It has just been a fantastic holiday, away from the busy tourist areas. They provide the best apartment/local guide I have ever seen. Really useful information. Do not hesitate to book this place. It is charming, modern on the inside and gives you access to the old town, with a lovely walk down a traffic free street. Nick the owner responds to emails immediately and organises everything you need. If I could give 7 stars I would. Your apartment has given us the best Rhodes holiday we could possibly have had.

Unsere Meinung
Die Kommunikation vorab klappte sehr gut. Nick hatte uns vorab schon mit Infos in einer PDF versorgt. Der erste Eindruck am Anreisetag war gut. Die Wohnung war sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet ( Küche ). Leider kam die große Enttäuschung auf der Terrasse. Umrahmt von zwei heruntergekommenen Häusern. Blick in einen kleinen unschönen Innenhof. Keine Auflagen wie auf den Bildern, sondern kleine dünne Stuhlauflagen. Nick bot uns als Ersatz die Sofakissen an. Der Esstisch war aus Metall und verrostet, wie auch die Stühle. Die Eckbank mit den Paletten war schmutzig und von dem Holz blätterte die Farbe ab, also nicht benutzbar. Am an der Terrasse grenzenden Haus wurde saniert, was nicht nur Staub und Farbreste brachte, sondern an einem Tag auch viele tote und halbtote Kakerlaken. Die drei halbvertrockneten Pflanzen retteten auch nichts mehr. Vom Badezimmerfenster aussen blätterte der Putz und die Farbe ab. Innen am Fenster war leider Schimmel, ebenso an der Decke. Der Badewannenrand war dreckig und schimmelig und der Duschvorhang müsste dringend erneuert werden. Der Waschtisch ist zu klein und eine Steckdose fehlte. Dafür gab es 3 !! Fernseher Entfernung zur Altstadt, Wochenmarkt ca 10-15 Minuten. Bushaltestelle und Parkplätze waren in der Nähe. Nick war sehr nett, auch wenn er, unserer Meinung nach, zu viel auf seine Hausordnung hinwies. Aber den Müll entsorgen wir nicht am Abreisetag morgens mit 2 Koffern und Handgepäck :-) ( 40 € Reinigungspauschale )

Die Wohnung liegt in einer kleinen Seitenstraße ca 10 min von der Altstadt. Sie ist ruhig gelegen und für den Mietwagen gibt es immer einen Platz in der Nähe. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist sauber und es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Kommunikation mit Niko war sowohl vor, als auch während des Urlaubs sehr gut.

Appartement parfait pour explorer Rhodes
Appartement très agréable, moderne et spacieux, dans un quartier tranquille mais avec tous commerces et restaurants à proximité. La localisation est parfaite pour explorer la vieille ville à pied, mais aussi pour partir à la découverte de l'ile. Excellent accueil par un hôte attentionné. Chaudement recommandé !

Die perfekte Unterkunft für unseren Urlaub
Die Wohnung war perfekt für uns. Zu Fuß in 15 Minuten in der Altstadt, trotzdem ruhig. Die Wohnung war sauber und es war alles vorhanden was wir gebraucht haben. Trotz der großen Hitze war es auf der Terrasse angenehm, auch in der Mittagszeit. Wir können die Ferienwohnung nur empfehlen. Auch von der Organisation hat alles super geklappt. Für un stand sogar schon gekühltes Wasser und Obst bereit.

Ferienwohnung in Nähe zur Altstadt
Wir wurden vom Vermieter sehr herzlich in Rhodos empfangen! Für 30 Euro hatte er ein Taxi bestellt, das uns vom Flughafen abgeholt hat. Er hat uns alle Besonderheiten der Ferienwohnung erklärt und stand für Rückfragen die ganze Zeit über zur Verfügung. Die Lage der Wohnung ist Klasse. Die Altstadt ist in ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Aber auch der Hafen und der Strand sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Einen Parkplatz für den Mietwagen haben wir auch immer in der Nähe der Ferienwohnung gefunden. Besonders gut hat uns die große Terrasse gefallen, hier haben wir jeden Morgen gefrühstückt. Alle Küchengeräte haben gut funktioniert. Für den Geschirrspüler waren ausreichend Tabs vorhanden. Im Gefrierschrank war ein Vorrat von Eiswürfeln. Es hat an Nichts gefehlt!!! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Ferienwohnung sehr empfehlen!

Die Wohnung war sehr schön eingerichtet. Man hat alles was man braucht. Das Wetter war sehr heiß als wir in Rhodos waren, deswegen wir konnten die Terrasse nicht genießen. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein einzige Problem war Toilettenspüle. Die Spüle war sehr laut und dauerte lange Spühlkasten wieder Wasser zu tanken.

Comfortable place in a good location
The apartment is very well equipped with TV sets in all rooms, it is clean and comfortable. As it is situated in a small side street, it is also very quiet. The bus stops to go to town and also for inland travel on the island are in the immediate neighbourhood, as is a suitably large supermarket. The beds are excellent. The large terrace is perfect for breakfast and to enjoy the balmy evenings. The owner is very kind and helpful in every respect, always approachable and reacts very fast if there are any questions. A place to be recommended.
