Great location on the beach. Walkable to Old Town and all of the many shops and restaurants. Property was immaculate and our room was very spacious. A very nice breakfast each morning. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Seaside hotel

The hotel is directly across the beach, and in walking distance to the center of the city. Rooms are nice, with nice sea view, the balcony ok, breakfast was very good.

We had a wonderful stay at Swell Boutique hotel. Staff really were amazing, they were always so helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely and had a beautiful sea view. It was split over 2 floors, upstairs having its own bathroom too, lots of wardrobe space and storage. The stairs were a little steep so had to be extra careful coming down. The bathroom could do with updating (like a rainfall shower) but beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows to choose from. Room service was daily and the ladies were so lovely. Really good breakfast selection, something for everyone and certain options changed daily. I really liked that they had local sweets/pastries so could try different things (all absolutely delicious!) The hotel is very conveniently located, about a flat 10 minute walk to the Old Town but plenty of restaurants, bars and shops around. Although it’s right by the road we weren’t disturbed by any outside noise. The hotel has a nice small pool to the side or is across the road from the sandy beach. Hotel guests get discounted sunbeds and you can get food/drink to the beach too. We were so sad to leave, Rethymno is such a beautiful place and we would definitely recommend Swell Boutique!

Clean and pleasant boutique hotel on the seafront, with a really helpful and friendly staff. Parking is limited but easily managed with a little help from hotel reception. The restaurants around the hotel are fun and good value, or a walk up to the harbour area and old town offers lots more great options.

3e séjour toujours parfait !

Il s’agit de notre 3e séjour dans cet hôtel et nous ne sommes jamais déçu. Globalement tout est parfait. Une vue magnifique, une jolie chambre certes pas immense pour 3 mais c’est pas grave nous ne faisons que y dormir… le petit déjeuner est toujours très bon et varié, le personnel est charmant … bref nous aimons beaucoup cet hôtel… Seul petit bémol la literie (du moins dans notre chambre est à revoir… le fauteuil convertible pour un ado de 17 ans est un peu limite … et notre lit n’était pas du plus grand confort non plus…)

Très bien … sauf la plage

Chambre propre avec tout le confort, grande douche, matelas confortable. Petit déjeuner en buffet, très fourni, avec jus orange pressé, il y a des spécialités grecs. Il y a même un petit déjeuner à emporter si on doit partir avant 8h qui est très complet. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est très bon, j’y ai mangé un soir, à un tarif raisonnable. Le parking est petit, seulement 4 places de parking devant. Toutes les places autour de l’hôtel sont gratuites, mais cela doit être compliqué en pleine saison. Précision, personne ne parle français. L’hôtel est très bien situé à environ 10 ou 15 min à pieds du centre ville. Et pleins de commerces à côté de l’hôtel. Le seul « problème » c’est la plage, l’hôtel fourmi des serviettes pour la plage, après il y a une plage parasol et transat du nereas ( nom du restaurant de l’hôtel) donc on a l’impression qu’on y a droit gratuitement, mais en faite non, c’est payant, 8€ pr le parasol et 2 transats, je vous conseils d’aller plus loin car certains c’est 5€ ou gratuit si vous prenez une conso. Dommage que ça ne soit inclus dans l’hôtel… c’est le seul point noir de l’hôtel.
