A true gem with an outstanding team

We had an amazing 8-day stay! We were celebrating an anniversary and were welcomed with a beautifully decorated bed, a bottle of wine and home-made cookies. The team went out of their way to show excellent customer service. The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool area was well maintained, with very comfortable sun loungers. We tried some things from their pool menu, and it was all fresh and delicious, at a fair price. The hotel is located just a few steps from the beach, and there is a large number of restaurants. (Overall, the quality of restaurants in Rethymno is high.) We wanted to rent a car for both our arrival and departure, and the manager, Olga, organized it for us, which saved us a lot of money, and the car was conveniently delivered to the airport and the hotel, respectively. We are looking forward to coming back soon and we would definitively recommend anyone to stay at the Leonidas - we couldn't have asked for a lovelier or more relaxing, hassle-free holiday! The team really takes good care of you! We have worked and traveled all over the world, and we have rarely come across a gem such as the Leonidas. A big thanks to Mr. Leonidas, Olga, and the rest of the team! Efcharisto poli!

Jättefint och trevligt hotell

Sköna sängar och kuddar. Trevlig personal. Bra AC. Ren och fin pool. Bra frukost. Parkering finns men är liten och rymmer 3-4 bilar. Annars gäller parkering på gatan, vilket kan vara svårt. Rekommenderar hotellet. Inte billigt, ligger bra till stranden.

En familj på 4 (14 & 11 åringa barn) som spenderade några dagar på hotellet. Suverän bemötande och väldigt bra läge till stranden och till ”Gamlestaden”. Familjeägt hotell som sköts passionerad av hela familjen. Rekommenderas verkligen.

Fantastisk hotel

Fantastisk hotel, rigtigt sødt personale og størrelsen på hotellet og beliggenhed var perfekt. Poolen og faciliteter skal kun deles med ca. 25 værelser, så der er en fantastisk stemning og du har stort set poolen for dig selv, også i højsæson. Det kan ikke ligge meget tættere på stranden, men er alligevel gemt godt for støjen fra strandvejen. Kunne ikke være bedre beliggenhed. Dejligt værelse med soveværelse med altan, mellemgang med køkken og adgang til toilet og en værelse med 2 enkeltstående senge med altan. Begge værelser har deres egen aircondition, som fungere godt også om natten.

Very nice hotel with great staff!

When we arrived we were surprised to find the hotel down a short alley from the sea front. However, the hotel is very nice and extremely well kept. The location is perfect, across the road from the beach, 10 minutes walk to the old town and surrounded by bars, restaurants with supermarkets and Patisserie within a very short walk. The pool area is really nice and as the hotel is so close to the beach and most guests spend their day there, there are always sunbeds available. The gardens and pool were very well kept. The rooms are nicely presented and clean. The maids do a good job! The rooms come with a fridge and coffee maker but no kettle so we had to buy one locally. SPECIAL MENTION - The staff are a credit to the hotel! Every member of staff throughout the day and night was very helpful and very welcoming! Well Done!! We had a great time!
