"We haven't stayed here for many years, since way back when it was the Sands. It has been all redone. Bathroom and Furnishings were all very nice. Bed and pillows were comfortable. It was not as clean as I like (hair in the shower that wasn't mine, vent covered in dust, etc.) but I'm finding most places aren't these days. Either there aren't enough employees or they don't give them enough time to clean properly. We had breakfast in the Cafe in the Casino. Food was good, reasonably priced and our waiter was very kind. And it was only a couple blocks off of Virginia Street and I-80."

"We booked this hotel as it had an indoor pool. I messaged the hotel the day of our arrival to say we'd be arriving late so please hold our room. I feel at this time they could mention the pool was out of order for a few days. I checked in earlier than we had originally planned and even asked what the pool hours were. I was told the hours and nothing about the pool closure. We came back from a softball tourney, donned our suits, and headed to the pool. Sign on the door: Closed for Maintenance. I asked an employee and was told it was closed the day before and would be closed for our stay. I understand pools need maintenance and things happen. I just felt it could have been menioned at some point so we could make other arrangements. Otherwise we do like staying at this hotel. This is our only issue we have had with them."

"From the shuttle bus driver to the registration clerk, I received very good service at the Silver Legacy. The room was clean and everything worked. The location of the property made it easy to walk to restaurants and the price was right. The Silver Legacy will definitely be on the list the next time I'm in Reno."
