「Beautiful cottage, clean, excellent view. We used the boat every day. It was gassed up and worked fine. There is a wood pile for camp fires. Muliple kyaks, canoes, and a stand up paddleboard. I saw loons on the lake (first time for me) and we heard owls at night. The fridge was clean and empty when we arrived...so you do need to bring any condiments, etc you might need. They do have salt & pepper. They have a kerig and a regular drip coffee pot. Highly recommend staying here...we hope to come...

「Best way to describe this cozy little place. We've stayed before & will book, again, next time we travel to Clayton. In fact, we won't travel to Clayton unless we can stay here. It's completely charming, close to the Boat Museum, an easy walk to the central shopping/eating area, and a long stone's throw to The River. Communication with the landlady is easy & thorough. 「Linda’s hospitality was amazing. We had a fantastic experience. We very much appreciated being guided in to the dock as we arrived to avoid shoals. The assistance getting our luggage to the house was so helpful. We enjoyed much of the island, walking and biking. Our large family felt very at home. There was plenty of room and the house has so much charm and character. Everyone we ran into knew the house and spoke so kindly of the family. We can’t wait to go back.」

「Everything about the house was amazing! We don’t own a boat so the owners provided us with a few local options, we chose Wagoner’s Marina. It was was easy to get to and the process there was smooth. 「The bathroom ceiling was peeling. The bathroom tub and sink were stained , after one night house keeping came in and cleaned. The room looked cleaner then when we arrived. And they put more tea bags and cups but not coffee I had to go ask for coffee. Towels are dingy. Pool looked like it needed cleaned. Hot tub closed. And when the tiki bar is opened good luck with parking. Restaurant on site are very pricy. Staff was very nice. And they don’t clean the balconies so you can’t sit out there...
