Don't forget your bike or running shoes as the cottage sits on the paved Sacramento River National Recreation Trail. After a day out exploring or working, relax in this charming, renovated cottage. Pick up fresh food and craft a meal in the fully stocked kitchen and finish your night off sitting in the private backyard patio in this tree covered oasis.

Enjoy the modern house remodel that was just completed in 2021! Updated kitchen and bathrooms, new lighting, paint, floors and furnishings throughout, including brand new super comfy beds, 4k HD TV and lightning fast WiFi.

Kitchen has all the essentials if you're inclined to make a meal, enjoy the complimentary coffee and tea.

Use the washer & dryer at your convenience.

The backyard features private, outdoor seating that's perfect for a warm day or a cool summer night.

Our place is perfect for couples, families, solo adventurers and business travelers (1-mile to Shasta Regional Medical Center; 1.9-miles to Mercy Medical Center).

This home is the absolute best spot to hide away in while you relax, refresh, laugh and swap stories after work or play in Redding.

House Rules:
1. No Smoking or vaping inside or outside (this includes marijuana).
2. No Unregistered Guests: This is not a place to host friends or family who are not registered and staying at this home.
3. Quiet hours are from 10pm - 7am. Please be considerate of the shared space and our neighbors.

Excellent accommodations in excellent location!
What makes some accommodations better than others? The biggest factor is the owners. Christian and Angela are Star Plus owners. They communicated with us throughout our booking, stay and departure. Location, location, location!!!!! We love Redding because it offers everything we look for: walking and hiking trails, biking, fishing and skiing (when there’s snow!). And, from 991 Center Street, you can leave the car keys at home. We walked to the sundial bridge, enjoyed an evening of music and wine at the Branch House, walked to the dam and back, fished numerous gravel bars on the ‘Sac”. All without getting in the car. The chamber of commerce was within walking distance and were a great source of information. And, when we had a mechanical problem with our car, an autop mechanic shop is 2 blocks away. We dropped he car for the day, walked home and enjoyed our day. If you enjoy outdoor activities, Redding should be at the top of your list. And, this house is the perfect location to explore from. Five star Plus!

Cute Cottage
The mix of some updated features with still having the feel of a small home from the 1930s was a nice comfortable, cozy, and quiet stay. Would stay again the next time I'm in the area.

Convenient for Downtown Redding
Good experience. Property was located in downtown Redding, but in an area that had less traffic, which was nice. It was also close to the Sacramento River. I didn't go to the river as I was at a conference at Bethel Church, but I think you could easily walk from the property to enjoy the river. The property was clean. It had 3 air conditioning units, which is must for a Redding summer. The kitchen had essentials for cooking and enough cups, plates, etc. The unit has a washing machine and dryer. 1 Queen sized bed, and a room with a bunk bed. I think maybe a family of 3-4 people would be comfortable here. Parking was no problem, and access to the unit was no problem either. I had a good stay and would recommend this property for its location, cleanliness, ease of access and amenities.

Clean, comfortable & charming home with a minimalist and farmhouse vibe. Heater & air conditioning in each room a plus. Nice neighborhood that’s centrally located made getting around easy. Check-in a snap and excellent communication/response from the manager. Plan to stay here again.

Cozy place, location is perfect for exploring Redding and surrounding areas.
We enjoyed our stay at Center House. It was perfect for our small family (2 adults, 1 child). The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The location was great for exploring Redding, and the surrounding areas.
