Our room was all the way to the back of the building which is close to the freeway. You can hear cars passing by. My Place Hotel-Redding CA
We didn't need AC. It was only around 50°... The place seems to be brand new. Our room had a full size refrigerator as well as a two burner cooktop and a microwave. Very comfortable queen size with a nice recliner and desk space and chair.

SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Redding
Bed was comfortable which is key. The cable, Dish, is meh, my only complaint. Food was hotel food, don't expect restaurant quality. Pool was warm and large pool.
